Hurleys Haven has always supported the work of Family Forever Animal Foundation and their goals of keeping pets together with their families in emergency situations.

My mother was always grateful that she was always able to provide care of her pets, and she thought it was amazing that there was a foundation to help people who fell short in emergency situations. In honor of my mother, I am asking anyone who is able to make a contribution to the Family Forever Animal Foundation.

They have helped so many pets over the years overcome and get treatment during emergency illness or injury situations, as well as assisting families in providing basic needs for their pets. You can learn more or donate at www.familyforeveranimalfoundation.org.

I am writing to inform you that Hurley’s Haven will be adjusting its hours next week.

It is with deep sadness that I share the news that my mom, Jill Smola, passed away on Monday, July 6. As Hurley’s Haven’s biggest cheerleader, she stood behind every idea and every vision we had in establishing this business, and we are incredibly grateful for how she always cheered us on and supported every aspect of making Hurley’s Haven what it is today.

We will be laying her to rest in Cleveland, Ohio on Monday, July 20. In her honor, Hurley’s Haven will be closed from Saturday, July 18 through Tuesday, July 21.
