Cat Rescue is a 501c non profit, all volunteer organization dedicated to protecting and assisting homeless/stray/abandoned cats in Central Florida . We feel that is our moral responsibility as citizens to improve their lives through finding forever homes for the friendly cats and TNVR for the feral cats. Trap/Neuter/Vaccinate/Return (TNVR) is the method of humanely trapping feral cats, having them

spayed or neutered, vaccinated for rabies and then returning them to their colony where a caretaker will provide food, shelter and monitor the cats' health. Our vision is to live in a community where no kittens are born in the wild, and no cats are without food, shelter, and vet care.

Any volunteers in the Orlando area able to help with Veg Fest Cat Adoption event this Saturday, October 22nd between 10-6 at Festival Park? All help is greatly appreciated, even if you just have an hour or two to spare. Desperately need people to help with this event! Lack of volunteers has made it extremely difficult on the few remaining dedicated individuals who no matter what always seem to find the time and energy to help. The cats need us! Still looking! Cat Lover/Caretaker needed for an established Cat Rescue in Williston, FL; just outside of Ocala. Volunteer position; living quarters are provided on-site in lieu of salary. Ideal position for energetic retired/semi-retired person or couple; no children. Must keep housing and feeding areas clean; provide companionship for the cats; spend time with them to know their habits and behavior; and monitor their health. Please PM for more details.
