Adopt Cannoli! Heās an 11-lb, 8-year-old Chihuahua - Miniature Pinscher blend.
Favorite Things: Confident, curious Cannoli loves toys: the more, the merrier. He can also be a social butterfly who greets everyone with an enthusiastic wiggle, but he still requests his space and to be approached slowly.
Training and Manners: Cannoli is housetrained if let out regularly. He walks well on a leash, sleeps in his dog bed at night, is a good passenger on car rides, and generally has good basic manners, although he can startle around people.
Health and Care: Cannoli is a healthy boy! He has an odd gait from a previous injury, but it doesn't seem to bother him. He is up-to-date on vaccines and neutered and he has just had his teeth cleaned. He just needs his monthly flea and heartworm preventatives, like any dog. As a short-haired Chihuahua, he shouldn't need much elaborate grooming, either.
Other Animals: This friendly guy gets along with other dogs of all sizes. He hasn't been observed around cats yet, but his foster thinks he'd get along with them, too.
Children: Cannoli requires a gentle, non-forceful approach, for this reason, he needs a home without children and with patient, understanding, dog-savvy adults only.
Ideal Home: Whether in an apartment, condo, or single-family home, this little guy doesn't need much: just a patient and loving person who will love him just as he is.
