Looking for a friend to adventure with? Cali is definitely your girl! Cali is a big love bug and enjoys going on walks and hikes! She is good and very playful with dogs; she could adjust to a cat but would just need some help with not playing with them to much, so a dog-savvy cat would be best. Cali would be a great fit in many types of homes. She is good with kids; can be more timid of men but warms up with toys and treats. And just look at that adorable underbite 😊

We spent yesterday learning from Blake Hernandez at The Groomers Speakeasy Institute and had an awesome time!

We covered everything from Asian Fusion styling to breed standards, anatomy, and corrective grooming. It was really interesting to see how much of a difference understanding structure and technique can make, and we definitely left with a few new things to think about behind the grooming table.

A huge thank you to Blake for sharing his knowledge with all of us, and on his birthday, no less! We're always looking for opportunities to keep learning and growing, and we're excited to bring some fresh ideas back to the salon.

We might be a little quieter than usual on Facebook this week as our kids wrap up the school year and kick off summer break.

Between end of year activities, excited kiddos, and all the things that come with being moms, our attention is a little more divided than normal this week. We’re still here, still grooming, still loving on all of your pups, and definitely still appreciating that new air conditioning.

In the meantime, here’s one from our recent photo shoot with Zi Photography. We were supposed to be giving our best serious, professional, girl boss faces, but if you look closely, you can still see the smirks sneaking through. Apparently we’re just not very good at looking tough. 😂

Congratulations to all of the graduates, and to all of the families celebrating the end of another school year. We hope everyone has a wonderful start to summer! ❤️☀️
