Yesterday, our Willow found her angel wings.
Many of us know what it's like to grieve a pet, and it saddens me to announce that yesterday we lost one of our own.
We rescued our sweet little Willow as a baby, and she left us with 13 loving years of memories.
We keep thinking about everything about her we are going to miss - the noise she made as she walked across the hardwood floor, her raspy little bark, how she used to look out of the window and watch for squirrels and birds, the way she leaned into you when you picked her up and made sure everyone's ears were cleaned...How much she loved being outside. She would sit on the grass for hours with her head up, soaking up the sunlight until we carried her inside.
No longer will we be able to experience her little quirks, but they live on in our memories. We were so incredibly blessed to have loved our 6lb little peanut. I have faith that one day, we will meet again.
Rest easy, little one. We will see you on the other side
