I wasn’t going to post any costumes until the contest but I couldn’t resist this one. Brody showed up for his weekly cardio session and somehow ended up competing in the Kentucky Derby 🐎🤠

His jockey was holding on for dear life, but Brody had absolutely NO plans of slowing down 💀😂

Safe to say this cowboy got his money’s worth at FitPup!

🐾 FITPUP’S 2026 HALLOWEEN COSTUME CONTEST IS ON 👻🔥

From October 12th through Halloween, I want to see your pups show up to their FitPup sessions in their BEST costumes.

Funny, scary, cute, completely ridiculous… the more creative, the better 😂

Pranking my clients by canceling their dogs appointments with the most ridiculous excuses I could think of 😭😂

I genuinely did not expect some of these responses 💀

Don’t worry… no FitPup sessions were actually canceled in the making of this post 🐶😂

Callie came in for her first FitPup session and said “okayyy I can do this”

Patches… just sitting there smiling like he paid for a VIP pass to watch 🤣

One came to work. One came for the vibes. Both understood the assignment in their own way 😂🐾

POV: Mom’s at work… but Marley & Stormy still have plans 🐾

Marley & Stormy already know what day it is. I let myself in, they practically drag me to the FitPup van, get their midday workout in, and then I bring them safely back inside when we’re done.

Meanwhile mom doesn’t have to leave work, rush home, or rearrange her day.

She just gets to come home to two happy, exercised, fulfilled dogs who are ready to relax. 🙌

And judging by the way these two sprint to the van… I think they approve 😎

It’s not what it looks like… not a real fight we promise 😂

These two are a mom & daughter Lab duo and some of FitPup’s biggest fans. They run with us multiple times a week, and apparently seeing the FitPup van pull up calls for a full blown celebration.

Their excitement usually starts before we even make it to the workout. 😂

A little play fighting, and two VERY happy Labs who know exactly what time it is when FitPup shows up.

Safe to say… Margot & Zoey love their FitPup days. 🐾💪

This one honestly means a lot 😎🐾

FITPUP was featured in USA TODAY!

It’s hard to put into words how cool it feels to see something that was once just an idea in my head now being shared on a national platform.

When I started FITPUP I really didn’t know where it would go. I just believed in the idea and wanted to create something that could genuinely help dogs and their owners, especially reactive and high-energy dogs that don’t always have the same opportunities to get the exercise and outlet they need.

Since then I’ve spent countless days driving around Orange County picking up dogs, running sessions, building relationships with clients and their pups, and slowly turning this idea into something real.

To now open USA TODAY and see FITPUP’s story being told is one of those moments that makes me stop and appreciate how far this has come.

I’m incredibly grateful to every person who has trusted me with their dog, referred a friend, shared our page, supported the business, or believed in what I was trying to build. You’ve all played a part in getting FITPUP here.

And the coolest part is that I still feel like this is only the beginning. We have some really exciting plans for the future of FITPUP, and there’s so much more I want to build and accomplish.

For now though, I’m just going to appreciate this one.

Pretty damn cool. ❤️🐶

Thank you USA TODAY and Maddie Rhodes for sharing our story.

POV: What was supposed to be temporary became part of her routine 🐾🧡

When we first met Maka a rescue shepherd mix, her mom had just gone through major back surgery. Maka is reactive toward other dogs so taking her on walks while recovering was practically impossible for her mom.

The plan was simple: have us exercise Maka while Mom recovered.

That was over two years ago. 😂

Maka loved her FITPUP days so much that they kept her weekly sessions going… and eventually bumped her up to twice a week.

Now she knows exactly which days I’m coming. She waits by the gate for me, hops in the van, gets her run in, and heads back home happy and tired like it’s just another part of her week. 🐶💨

What started as helping her mom through recovery turned into a routine Maka absolutely loves.
And more than two years later, I still get to see that face waiting for me at the gate every week. ❤️

Meet Brody 🐾💪

This is exactly why we never rush the process.

At the start of his first FITPUP session Brody was LOW to the ground, curious, nervous, and unsure about this strange new thing under his feet. But watch his body language change as the minutes go by…

More confidence. Less hesitation. Tail starts wagging. And by the 10-minute mark he’s upright, smiling, and realizing, “Wait… I actually LOVE this!” 😂🐶

Something new can feel stressful at first but giving dogs the opportunity to work through it safely and at their own pace can be incredibly rewarding. The slatmill isn’t just exercise it’s a chance to build confidence, overcome something unfamiliar, and even discover a new favorite activity. 🧡

Welcome to FITPUP, Brody! 🐾🔥
