A dog snaps at flies that aren't there. A cat licks one spot bald. A dog eats rocks, dirt, socks, anything but food.
We call these behavior problems. Sometimes they are. Most of the time there is something else driving the behavior as well.
In this Fear Free sponsored webinar, I'm walking you through how gastrointestinal, thyroid, and skin disease change behavior through the gut-brain axis, systemic inflammation, and constant itch. We'll cover the presentations that get mislabeled: aggression, excessive licking, pica, stargazing, fly-biting, house soiling, overgrooming.
You'll also leave with language for the client who is sure the behavior "isn't medical."
For veterinarians, trainers, and anyone working where medicine and behavior overlap.
September 3rd at 8 pm EST.
