Hahn and Goose had an awesome weekend at Olex Upland Game preserve. Hahn climbed the rocky hillside for a retrieve, his points were flashy and solid. Goose was a champ in the training fields. Very much like his brother and likes to show off! Both dogs had a blast showing off for cousin Marcus. Season ends in March reach out if you’re interested in a last minute hunt.

Who wants to hunt in November and didn’t get there elk tag? The next best thing is a day of hunting behind some amazing dogs at beautiful Olex Upland Game Preserve. Honestly I’ll take a day of bird hunting over bull hunting any day of the week and that’s exactly what we did. Instead of trying to cash in on my any bull tag I’ll be at the preserve. We will be at Olex November 10th-13th. Reach out if your interested, contact me directly or call Olex Upland Game Preserve.

Olex Preserve is located in north central Oregon near the Columbia River in Oregon's high desert. The preserve offers a variety of services to fit each ...

We’ve been keeping a small little secret, and now that we have him home we couldn’t be happier to say that we have ourselves a baby German Shorthair Pointer. Everyone meet Goose. Both Hahn and Goose have the same mom! We are super excited to see how Goose handles his training. So far he is living life with his big brother!

On another note, bird season is around the corner. Now is a great time to start talking with us on your next bird hunt!

Great trip to Olex Upland Game Preserve. Got my Father Mike out on birds for the first time in a lot of years. Hahn was a STUD for his grandpas hunt. Also got to get a rare photo of a retired bird dog. Dillion is 14 years old and would still rather be in the field than take naps. He is one of the dogs that paved a path for quality hunts at Olex.
