THIS WEEKEND is Parkour Play Day!
Oklahoma may not have a group event this year, but that doesn’t mean you have to miss out. Participate on your own with your dog.

The International Dog Parkour Association has sent out this year's challenges. It is similar to a scavenger hunt...beginner-friendly and designed for anyone to try. It is FREE to participate but you can purchase a sticker. The challenges are linked in the comments.

When I’m not hanging out with your pets… I’m here at Oklahoma Humane Society.

Right now, so many of these pets are looking for foster homes, and a lot of them will be available for adoption as soon as next week.They just need a place to land, decompress, and show everyone who they really are.

Would you believe me if I said she used to squirm away? And before that… I held her still and had a mindset of "must get it done".
Now she’s upside down, tail wagging, letting me look her over like it’s no big deal.
Nail trims are still a work in progress but tick checks have really helped us be one step closer to our goals. It’s where we’ve practiced being okay with being handled, up close and personal, hanging out in one spot a little longer than feels natural.
It didn’t happen overnight. It was small moments, small wins, and a lot of meeting her where she’s at.
