Some of you may or may not know what's going on with us right now... On Thursday July 23, 2026 Brittney Nicole suffered a miscarriage. The pregnancy was unknown to us as it wasn't evident yet. She started hemorrhaging, we called an ambulance and the ambulance crew took her vitals and advised she should go to the ER but couldn't "force" her to. She declined as the ambulance crew said that bleeding that heavy was typically normal for a short time when that happens.
Brittney continued to try and function as normal, but the hemorrhaging got Friday after taking off work early. They admitted her to the hospital and from the ER, sent her to intensive care because her blood pressure was very very low. She received 2 units of blood that night and 3 more the next day. They have her a D&C procedure and she was diagnosed with sepsis from the material in her uterus. The two bacteria present have a 75% mortality rate. Since then, we have been at the hospital in Shawnee trying to get the infection under control, yesterday, August 7, she was moved to OKC to a primary hospital for special care from an infectious disease specialist.
So here we are, two weeks later... We are asking for donations to help with gas, food, and supplies for the animals and the family. Our car broke down (blown out rear main seal) on our SUV. Luckily our landlord let us fix up and drive one of his old vehicles for now. But it gets horrible mileage.
ANY donation would be greatly appreciated. You can donate via cashapp at $savingsnakes or through PayPal via .
