Well, the time has come!

I'm opening up HorseKeeper for early access!

I'm inviting horse owners to take HorseKeeper for a spin before it officially launches on the App Store.

If you're buried in horse records, vet visits, farrier appointments, feed schedules, receipts, and all the little details that come with horse ownership — HorseKeeper was built with you in mind.

With HorseKeeper you can:
✅ Store important horse documents and records
✅ Track vet, farrier, dental, and other appointments
✅ Share feed schedules with family, barn staff, or caregivers
✅ Keep tabs on expenses
✅ Manage all your horses in one place

This is a real-world beta, and your feedback will help shape it before the public launch.

A quick heads-up so it all makes sense: HorseKeeper isn't on the App Store yet — you're getting early access. Apps at this stage install through TestFlight, Apple's own free app for trying apps before they launch. It's two quick taps — get TestFlight (free, from Apple), then tap my link. No code needed, and the page below walks you through every step.

👉 Join the free beta: gethorsekeeper.com/testflight

Thank you to everyone who has supported, tested, and encouraged this journey so far. ❤️🐴

For a long time, horses have been the place where life made sense again.

Some of you know me through music.
Some through design and technology.
Some through the journey of mustangs and natural horsemanship here at Y-Knot.

But behind the scenes, something unexpected started happening…

I began designing and building a product inspired by the everyday realities of horse ownership.

The feed schedules.
The appointments.
The farrier notes written on scraps of paper.
The “wait… when was the last deworming?” moments.
The expenses.
The chaos of managing multiple horses, services, and records while still trying to actually enjoy them.

What started as an idea slowly turned into something real.

HorseKeeper.

An app designed to help simplify horse care, management, records, scheduling, inventory, and the day-to-day responsibilities that come with loving these animals.

And honestly…

This journey has become much bigger than technology.

It became about rebuilding after a major life shift.
Learning new things at 55.
Taking a scary leap.
Combining creativity, strategy, horses, and years of experience into something meaningful.

This page may slowly start evolving along with that journey.

Not just horse training.
Not just ranch life.
But also the process of building something from the ground up — with horses at the center of it all.

If you’re part of the horse world and want to follow along, test features, share ideas, or be part of early beta testing, I’d love to connect.

Today we celebrate the birthday of Velma "Wild Horse Annie" Johnston—a true champion for America’s wild horses and burros!

Her tireless advocacy inspired a nationwide movement, leading to the landmark 1971 Wild Free-Roaming Horses and Burros Act. Thanks to her passion and determination, wild horses and burros continue to roam freely, enriching our public lands and reminding us of the importance of stewardship.
