Thank you all for the words of sympathy and support following the loss of our beloved young stallion Never Never Land. We appreciate the love sent our way, knowing so many of you have also suffered losses that are hard to bear. With great passions also comes sadness at times - we look forward to spring, new foals, and all the joy our horses bring us daily in so many ways…

This is not a post I ever imagined making, at least not for many, many years… there are no words that work at all, to express our sadness. In one moment to the next, we lost one of the brightest rising stars of the barn, and the future plans for our pony breeding program. Never Never Land will live on in so many memories, and our hopes and dreams. My greatest sadness is for my daughter Alethea Kustar, as she loved him so. But we also remember him and our dreams for the future with such joy, and look forward to that spark and connection with more special ponies to come. Many thanks to our wonderful barn family at Heritage Equestrian International - Hannah, Paige, Alexis and everyone at the barn for the perfect care and happy life you gave him – from the moment he arrived from Germany until the last moment of his life – he knew no fear, no pain, ever. Fly high Tink – we miss you here, and know that like all good residents of Neverland, you will never grow old…

What a wonderful day with the Rappahannock Hunt for Thea’s first time fox hunting. She rode our homebred pony SF Shazam ( SF Spirit x Makuba). The day was bright and beautiful, Shazam loves hunting and is so brave and honest- I think the big open spaces remind him of the South Dakota prairie where he grew up! Thanks to Jessica Chappell for introducing Thea to the hunt!
