Today, on Memorial Day 2026, Pax K9 remembers and honors Sgt. Joshua Ashley — a Marine, a K9 handler, and a brother whose sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Some men leave behind stories.
Others leave behind a standard.

Joshua Ashley stood the watch beside his military working dog and his fellow Marines with courage, loyalty, and honor. Today we remember not only the warrior, but the bond, the service, and the sacrifice that came with wearing the leash and the uniform.

From one K9 handler to another — we carry your memory with us.

Today was a day like no other. We encountered God like never before. My family and I were baptized into the Holy Orthdox Church! Glory to God. Christ is Risen!
