Tired of your dog pulling like a freight train ? 🚂🫠

So was a new client of mine. She owns a 2 year old XL bully who she said has been pulling ALL of his life !! See the significant improvement in our very first session .

You may be cool but are you cooler then this guy ? 🤣

Whodat aka “ potato “ is a 5 month old deaf english bulldog puppy . His mom wanted him to learn to ride a skateboard . Clearly this is all in good fun . Is whodat excited about it ? Hard to say but being he’s a lazy guy it beats walking 😆💕 . He always makes me laugh … he was born a star !

People often ask me if their dog is too old to be trained . Dogs are NEVER too old to learn new things !

Bear is a 4lb 8 year old senior teacup Chihuahua. Who is now with his 3rd and final owner. He is just now learning basics which may not seem like a big deal but for him & his owner it is . You can hear how excited she is in the video 😆 rightfully so. Getting a Chihuahua to do anything is a miracle 🤣. His mom had to give him the commands because he could care less what i say , which is fine .

Moral of the story :

The key isn't age it's using clear communication, consistency, fair expectations, and rewarding success.

Every dog learns at their own pace, and with the right approach, new commands and behaviors are absolutely achievable.

Whether your dog is one year old or twelve, it's never too late to start training. Learning doesn't have an expiration date, and neither does your dog's potential.

Keep up the good work Bear & Etta 😊👍

One of the most valuable lessons a dog can learn is from another well balanced dog.

An appropriate correction from a stable, confident dog can teach boundaries in ways that humans simply can't. These corrections are fair and designed to communicate not intimidate ! They help dogs learn respect, social etiquette, and how to interact appropriately with other dogs.

Not every correction is aggression, and not every dog is qualified to give one. The key is having a calm, neutral, & well socialized dog that knows how to communicate clearly without escalating a situation.

When done safely and under experienced supervision, these natural interactions can be one of the most effective tools for building a respectful, confident, and socially balanced dog.

Cutter is the best at teaching unruly pups, he has so much patience. He is being gentle with this little one , as she is only 4.5 lbs 🐮

One of the biggest misconceptions in the dog world is that toy / small breeds aren't smart. The truth? They're incredibly intelligent. Daisy Mae is a 9 week old toy Australian Shepherd weighing 4.5 lbs.

Just because they're small doesn't mean they're any less capable of learning. Toy / small breeds can excel in training and everyday manners when they're given clear guidance and consistent training.

Their size often leads people to excuse unwanted behaviors that wouldn't be tolerated in larger dogs. It's not because they can't learn it's because they haven't been taught.

Congratulations to Koda on successfully completing a 2 week Board & Train program with me ! 🐾

Over the course of the program, he has worked hard, gained confidence, and made incredible progress. From building solid obedience, off leash training and better house manners, he has put in the effort every step of the way.

I am proud of everything he has accomplished, he came in as a chaotic, rambunctious boy 😆. He is now leaving as a dog who is well balanced !

Training is an ongoing journey. His owner took lessons with him throughout the board & train to ensure she is able to keep consistency at home after his program. Big round of applause for Koda & his owner 👏❤️

This is Haley a 5 year old black German Shepherd. She was a recent board and train who came to me with a bite history. Haley came in highly reactive to men, small dogs and cats. Her owner told me she would lunge at small dogs & cats when passing by them becoming very difficult for her to handle. While with me Haley had such a huge turnaround and did FANTASTIC ! She started as a dog with aggression issues and went home able to be calm and confident in every situation.
