Sunday Funday 🤗

When your horse has a better recall than 90% of the dogs you see out in public 🤣

Recall isn't just a dog command. My mare said "I heard mom call" and came running. Meanwhile, i see alot of dogs out there who pretend they can't hear their owners 😂

I have had this horse since she was a year old, she is now 5. We are very bonded. No treats or food used as a bribe she just loves me as much as i love her ❤️. When i called her i actually interrupted her while she was snacking on something lol .

Koda is a beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog, his owners wanted him fully trained including fully off leash trained .

After graduating training with me koda went to a casting call for an opportunity to be photographed for the face of dog food bags . Part of the casting call requirements were not only that he is handsome but he needed to be trained and well behaved .. of course he pasted with flying colors . ( Picture of him at the photo shoot at the end ) .

Needless to say i am always extremely proud of my client dogs ! ❤️

🚨 BIG DOG ≠ DANGEROUS DOG 🚨

Large / Giant breed dogs should be able to walk past, coexist with, and appropriately interact with smaller dogs.

It’s not about size. It’s about training.
Large dogs need to learn that smaller dogs aren’t toys, targets, or invitations to play rough. They need impulse control, boundaries, confidence, and proper socialization.

A well-socialized large / giant breed dog should learn how to:

✔️ Respect a smaller dog’s space
✔️ Control their strength and play
✔️ Listen to corrections from other dogs
✔️ Stay calm and appropriate around dogs of all sizes

Socialization isn’t just about teaching a dog to like other dogs it’s teaching them how to behave around them & interact with them. A well-trained big dog knows their size. A well socialized big dog knows how to use it . ❤️

🐾 Every dog deserves to feel safe. Dog attacks are becoming far too common, and responsible ownership matters ! Be responsible and get training !

GREAT PYRENEES PUPPY FOR ADOPTION WORKING HOME WANTED 🐾

We are looking for the right home for a 3½ month old Great Pyrenees puppy.

⚠️ This puppy is NOT being advertised as a pet-home placement. We are specifically looking for a home where the puppy will have a job and purpose.

A property with livestock is preferred, the puppy has already been started with livestock.

We are looking for someone who understands livestock guardian dogs and is prepared to continue developing this puppy into a reliable working guardian.

Please be prepared to provide information about your property, livestock, and experience with working dogs.

The puppy will receive spay, vaccines, and dewormer prior to placement. Adoption fee is $400. Available through Coyote Crossing Rescue.

Whodat ( 5 months old ) is here to tell you deaf dogs can be trained too !!

Being deaf doesn’t mean a dog can’t learn, it simply means we communicate with them a little differently. Through hand signals, visual cues, body language, and consistency, deaf dogs can learn obedience just like dogs who can hear.

Sit. Down. Stay. Place. Come.
No voice required ! You’ll hear me say some commands out of habit but whodat is 100% deaf since birth. Which is common in predominantly white dogs.

It’s not about what they can’t hear it’s about finding a way they can understand.
Different communication. Same potential.

🎉 Congratulations to Jimmy !!! 🥳

Jimmy is a 4 month old heeler mix puppy who was adopted from a rescue. Jimmy successfully completed his 2 week board and train ! 🐾

When he first arrived, he needed to build a solid foundation in all of his basic obedience, I also saw some early signs of pushy, dominant behaviors that needed to be addressed before they became bigger issues. Jimmy needed plenty of healthy socialization and confidence building around both people and other dogs.

Over these two weeks, he has worked hard learning boundaries, structure, obedience, manners, and how to appropriately interact with the world around him. Watching him grow, learn, and become more confident has been such a rewarding part of the process. ❤️

He still has plenty of growing and learning ahead of him because of course training doesn't end when the Board & Train does but he is heading home with a much stronger foundation. Jimmys family now has the knowledge to help them all continue succeeding 😊 !
