Adoption fee is $100 and includes the following: physical exam, annual vaccine + rabies, F***l exam, and neuter/spay. Some fees may be different. Adopter will be responsible for monthly heartworm preventative and flea and tick medicine. If you adopt a puppy that is too young to be spayed or neutered, you will still pay the full amount and when the puppy is old enough to be spayed or neutered, you may take them to the Oakdale Animal Clinic. Your fee will already be paid. If you do not have your dog spayed or neutered prior to the deadline, you could face a fine and have to relinquish the dog back to the shelter with no refund. Our goal is to help combat overpopulation and the only way to do that is through spay and neuter. Please be advised that we can deny you adoption if we do not feel the dog is a good fit for your home or vice versa. Thank you for your support.

Let’s start this Lord’s Day off with a praise report! We would like to announce that our sweet Bitsy, now known as Dolly, has been adopted! And to add to this blessing is that her mom works at the clinic where Bitsy had her surgery done. She said there have been lots of dogs coming in the clinic that she has noticed - but not one of them had the result of “love at first sight “ like Bitsy did! Not only did Bitsy find a furever Mom, she also has a dog sister (who has become her nursemaid) and a cat sibling! But that’s not even the best news! The best news is that she gets to go to work with Mom every day where she will be spoiled by Mom’s work family! We feel that Bitsy has become our “village” pup so we will make sure to keep everyone updated on her progress!!

We would like to send out a huge thank you to everyone for all the donations and prayers! We could not have done this without y’all! Another tremendous thank you goes out to Mardi Paws who did not hesitate when we reached out for assistance!! We are so very grateful!!

Bitsy is doing good! She is loved by all of the people at the vet clinic!

Update on Bitsy:

Bitsy’s surgery went well. We apologize for not updating last night - but we were waiting on another update from the doctor before we posted. (She got out of surgery at 6:00)

Update on Bitsy:

She is scheduled for her knee surgeries Tuesday, August 23rd. We would appreciate your prayers for this precious soul. Please pray for a successful surgery, a speedy recovery and her shelter moms who are very nervous about all of this! After her surgery, she will be fostered by Susan Ballard. We appreciate her stepping up to take care of our baby girl!

Due to the generosity of our followers, family, and friends we were able to raise the money needed for her surgery. In addition to that we had an extra amount of $310 which we will use to get her some much needed dental work. This will be done at a later date!

Once again - we want to thank you for making this possible! We always say it takes a village and there are no truer words! You guys showed up and showed out! WE ARE BLESSED!!

We will keep y’all updated!!
