Sometimes I’ll be driving down the road, heading to another job, and I’ll have one of those moments where I just have to sit there and think…
How the hell did we get here?
Not because everything has always been easy.
Actually… quite the opposite.
When Conrad and I started P**p Team 6, there was no big pile of money sitting in the bank. No investors. No fancy business plan funded by somebody else. No guarantee that any of this was going to work.
There was just two people who believed we could build something.
He had his work. I had our babies. We had bills, responsibilities, a whole lot of uncertainty… and somehow, we decided we were going to build a business together.
What started with an idea became a real business.
Then came the equipment. The insurance. The licensing. The advertising. The phone calls. The early mornings. The long days. The weekends. The weather. The cancellations. The customers. The friendships. The miles. The p**p. SO. MUCH. P**P.
And there were plenty of moments where we had to choose between what we wanted and what the business needed.
So we chose the business.
Again. And again. And again.
We poured our time, our energy, our money, our marriage, our sweat and sometimes our tears into this thing.
And somewhere along the way, we stopped looking at it as “this little business we're trying to grow”…
and realized…
Holy s**t. WE BUILT A BUSINESS.
We built something that supports our family.
Something with customers who trust us.
Something that has become part of our everyday life.
Something that started with two people just trying to make something work… and turned into P**p Team 6.
And the thing that gets me the most?
When I look at our life today, I don't just see what we have.
I see everything it took to get here.
I see the nights we were exhausted.
I see the sacrifices nobody knew about.
I see the times we wondered if we were doing enough.
I see the risks we took.
I see the things we went without.
I see two parents trying to build a future while raising our girls.
I see a husband and wife who didn't have all the answers but kept putting one foot in front of the other.
And I see God's hand in all of it.
Because sometimes you're so busy surviving the season you're in that you don't realize you're actually building the life you once prayed for.
And that's where I feel like we are right now.
Still building. Still dreaming. Still working. Still figuring it out.
But no longer standing at the beginning wondering if we can do it.
We're standing in the middle of it looking back and saying…
LOOK WHAT WE BUILT.
So when you see the truck, the business, the customers, the growth, the family, the life we're creating…
just remember, you're seeing the part of the story that came AFTER all the hard parts.
You didn't see every sacrifice.
You didn't see every exhausted night.
You didn't see every conversation about money.
You didn't see every time we wondered what was next.
You didn't see all the little decisions that eventually became something BIG.
But we did.
And we'll never forget where we started.
Because the version of us who was just trying to make it work…
is the reason the version of us today gets to dream even bigger.
From an idea between a husband and wife…
to a real business.
From trying to make ends meet…
to building something our family can be proud of.
From wondering “Can we really do this?”
to realizing…
WE'RE ALREADY DOING IT.
And baby…
WE ARE JUST GETTING STARTED.
God has been good to us.
And we're going to keep working like we believe there's still so much more ahead.
P**p Team 6 — built by two people who believed in each other, worked their asses off, and refused to quit.
And honestly?
I wouldn't trade the messy beginning for anything.
Because every hard season helped build this one.
ALL GLORY TO GOD.
