🍃 Calling all Illinois Valley orchard & garden keepers! 🍎🍐

New Leaf Learning, the farm-based education program of Novium Folium Farm & Sanctuary, is looking for GLEANING opportunities for our students at The Dome School in Cave Junction!🍃 Calling all Illinois Valley orchard & garden keepers! 🍎🍐

Do you have apple or pear trees dropping more fruit than you can use? Extra squash, tomatoes, greens, or anything else still coming in from the garden? 🥕🥬🎃

Here's how you can help:
🍎 Host a gleaning field trip – let our K–4 learners come pick fruit (with adult supervision!) and learn where food really comes from
🧺 Donate extra fruits & veggies – everything goes toward healthy school lunches and snacks for the kids
🚜 🐖 Farm Toys or Art suplies
puppets , wooden , costumes ect.

Nothing goes to waste, kids get fresh local food, and they learn hands-on about harvest, community, and caring for the land. 🌱

Learn. Tend. Grow. 💚
