Fancy Feathers Aviary We are a small, in-home hobby aviary in Northfield, MN. Our chicks are hand-fed, raised and socialized by our family and friends.

Our goal is to raise good birds for the glory of God.

It’s fun to see the subtle color variations emerge in the chicks’ feathers. They’re like little flying works of art. See how one has a prominent reddish back with red bands across the secondary feathers? Some have much more blue in those secondary feathers.
