Twenty-five years ago today, our nation was forever changed.
Today, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the extraordinary courage of those who answered the call to help.
For Hounds Town, that remembrance is deeply personal. Our founder, Mike Gould, was among the many first responders who served at Ground Zero in the days following the attacks. Alongside firefighters, police officers, paramedics, volunteers, and countless others were hundreds of working dogs and their handlers – searching through the rubble, offering comfort, and serving with unwavering dedication.
Their courage, sacrifice, and service will never be forgotten.
Today, we pause to honor those we lost, those who served, and the human and canine heroes who stood together in one of our nation’s darkest moments.. ❤️🤍💙
