Spring haircuts and hoof trims for Anna, Elsa, Jiggett, Violet, Vanessa, and Zorro! We are switching to two haircuts a year in 2026. We can keep a better eye on body condition this way plus everyone will be more comfortable overall.

Thanks so much to everyone who took a moment to donate to Carolyn's birthday fundraiser. We raised nearly $800 which has helped us cover hay, feed, and Rosie's salads this month.

It's National Pig Day, too! Rosie and the rest of us are all looking forward to Spring...soon, soon, soon. 🥰🥰🥰

The system is working!

It took us all day to set up three coops to protect the chickens from the arctic blast. It was a pain in the 🍑 figuring this out and a pretty spectacular show trying to catch them all but it was worth it. One stressful day in exchange for a week of not worrying that they’re suffering or getting frostbite on their combs or worse. We shuffled the cats to my office sharing a heat source with Rosie. Frankie and Arthur our turtle are in their usual spots. The sheep, goats and minis should be good tonight. Tomorrow Curt and Cody will staple plastic and tarps to the barn doors that have gaps. The goat shed is well insulated and has four goats in it so they should be good. Sending prayers to everyone who can’t just hunker down indoors the next few days because lives are counting on them. ❤️❄️🙌 Carolyn Romano
