He stopped by East Norriton Community Day to say hello, meet some new friends and take in everything the event had to offer. Safe to say, he was a fan of all the attention! 💙

Our Courthouse Comfort Dog, Barney, recently helped Canine Partners for Life (CPL) through an important part of its reaccreditation process with Assistance Dogs International (ADI).

As part of the evaluation, Barney was observed working in our courthouse environment, navigating through people traffic, responding to commands and even taking a turn on the witness stand. 🐶⚖️

While the evaluation wasn’t about Barney “passing a test,” his participation helped demonstrate something much bigger: that the training provided by CPL is effective and prepares assistance dogs to confidently work alongside their handlers in real-world environments.

We’re proud of Barney and grateful to CPL for the training and support that made him such an important part of our courthouse community! 💙🐾
