🐶 Position: Chief Welcome Officer & Director of Playtime
🐾 Breed: Golden Retriever
❤️ Specialties: Making friends, sharing toys, reading the room, providing emotional support, and making every guest feel at home!
Every great business has someone working behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly. Here at Board Witt Us, some of our hardest-working employees have four legs, wagging tails, and absolutely no concept of personal space! 😂
And who better to kick off our furry employee introductions than the girl who helps make it all possible? Our very own Faith! 💕
🐾 HER GOTCHA STORY
Faith joined our family when she was just 4 months old, and little did we know how much this fluffy little girl would change our lives.
Like many families with fur babies, our journey hasn’t always been sunshine, tennis balls, and belly rubs.
Faith developed recurring urinary tract infections, which eventually required a specialized Hill’s prescription diet consisting of both wet and dry food, along with two daily cranberry supplements.
Then, around her second birthday, life threw us another curveball. Faith began having seizures. Initially, they occurred roughly every eight months, but eventually became more frequent, happening about every six months.
Watching your baby go through something you can’t explain to them or protect them from is heartbreaking.
Thankfully, after adjustments to her seizure medication, our girl has been doing AMAZING! As we approach Halloween 2026, we’re coming up on ONE WHOLE YEAR seizure-free! Her last seizure was Halloween 2025. 🎃❤️
And you better believe that’s a milestone worth celebrating!
❤️ MORE THAN JUST A FAMILY DOG
Over the past year, Faith has taken on another incredibly important role: becoming Jeremy’s emotional support animal.
And the beautiful thing? They really seem to support each other.
Both Jeremy and Faith can experience anxiety in busy public settings, such as stores and restaurants. But together, they’ve developed a special connection that helps them find comfort in one another.
In May, Faith even went on her first big road trip to Florida, and she did absolutely FANTASTIC!
Watching their bond grow has been one of the most rewarding parts of our journey with her. Sometimes the ones we think we’re rescuing end up helping us in ways we never imagined. 🥹❤️
🐶 NOW, ABOUT HER JOB AT BOARD WITT US…
Let’s just say Faith takes her position VERY seriously. Well, most of the time. 😂
She’s our resident greeter, playtime coordinator, toy-sharing supervisor, and professional friendship maker.
One of the things that makes Faith such an incredible host is her ability to read the room.
Have a guest who wants to run, wrestle, chase toys, and play until they’re exhausted? Faith says, “SAY LESS! I’M IN!” 🎾
Have a senior pup or a guest who prefers a quiet, relaxing vacation? No problem! Faith understands that not everyone wants a party, and she’s perfectly content giving them their space.
She’s willing to share her toys, her snacks, her home, and even her favorite humans. And anyone who knows how much Golden Retrievers love their people knows that’s a pretty big deal! 😂
She has a way of adjusting her energy to the dogs around her, helping our boarding guests feel comfortable and welcome.
💚 WHY FAITH IS SO SPECIAL TO US
Faith isn’t just our dog. She’s family. She’s a fighter. She’s Jeremy’s comfort. She’s our welcoming committee. And she’s helped us create an environment where other families can feel comfortable leaving their beloved pets.
Her medical journey has also taught us patience, compassion, the importance of routines, and just how much attention goes into caring for an animal with special needs.
We understand that every pet comes with their own personality, quirks, routines, and sometimes medical challenges. Faith reminds us every day why those little details matter.
