P L E A S E S H A R E!!!!!!!!!!!
Please meet Isabella ( I like to call her Isabella Waffles). She is looking for her FOREVER family!
We have been fostering her for 3 weeks now! She is from the The Animal Protection League Inc., Indiana in Anderson. The shelter flooded and they needed emergency fosters- so she’s been hanging out at home with us.
I am not sure what life she had prior to her short stay at the humane society before it flooded but it wasn’t kind … she’s healed nicely from all of her wounds and now she knows what love and a home ( even if we are temporary) feels like and WOW! This girl sure deserves an amazing family. I guarantee you will have a loyal friend and companion for life!❤️❤️
Let me tell you what her perfect home life might look like….
🥰 someone that works from home so she can be by your side and QA consultant
🐱 Cats with a slow introduction… this girl respects cat boundaries
🏠 a home where she can rest easy and give her family kisses and hugs
🏡 Fenced yard to stretch her legs
🚘 She LOVES the car and travels great
🍦Enjoys a pup cup
These are the things we learned-
She walks great on a leash!
She’s bell trained to go outside to go potty. About 80% there
Takes treats like a lady
Non aggressive with food/toys etc
Was just spayed
Heartworm negative
Went to the vet and got a great check up ( has had a litter or 2 of puppies previously )
Is on flea/tick and heartworm prevention
Respects an Alpha in the house to help her with boundaries
Dog sibling(s)that will help correct her silly puppy behavior at times
A strong crate( she does well with a rewards system. Making the crate a safe and happy place- peanut butter kongs are great) She most likely will do well left in the home uncrated after she is comfortable
Patience- she is still learning
She is about 2 1/2 years old
She deserves all of the good in the world. ♥️♥️♥️
We can”t keep her due to the size of our dog Juniper (6 pounds). They try to play but she doesn’t know her size and the age of our other dog Jasper. He’s 14 1/2 and has no patience for her silliness.
If you think she might be a great addition to your family PLEASE let me know!!! You can fill out an application and do a meet and greet.
We can’t keep her much longer and I don’t want to return her to the shelter- she would be devastated and will undo all the great things she’s learning and becoming.
If she isn’t a fit for you, could you please share share share???
Together we can all do great things… one animal at a time.
