The TM Crew

The TM Crew is a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to rescuing senior dogs. Our mission is that no senior dog dies alone or abandoned.

We surround them with love and care until the very end. We focus is on hospice care and quality of life for each dog we rescue.

Lazy’s happy update is coming soon. His journey hasn’t been easy since leaving the shelter, and I’m incredibly grateful for our vet and their staff for going above and beyond for him, as well as every volunteer and foster who showed up for him. I wish more people understood what really happens when a senior dog is dumped at a shelter, especially one as sensitive as him. We were not going to give up on him, and we can’t wait to see him continue to thrive, learn to trust, and feel safe again. 💛

🐾 Roxy is officially ready for adoption! 🐾

Roxy is about 15 months old and around 35 pounds. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, crate trained, and potty trained.

She is incredibly sweet, loyal, active, and loves the dog park! Roxy would make the perfect companion for someone looking for a loving and fun best friend. 💕

Bernardo is still wondering why he hasn’t been adopted yet, and he’s been telling me all about it. 💛

I had the privilege of watching him for the last few weeks while his fosters were away on a much needed vacation, and oh boy has this dog blossomed since the first time we met him a few months ago. He is sweet, loves to play with toys, has the cutest quirky little behaviors, and is slowly building his confidence every day. 🐾

Bernardo is a survivor of Devore Animal Shelter, where he came incredibly close to being euthanized. Despite everything he’s been through, he remains sensitive, loving, and full of personality.

We believe he’s a Greyhound/Chihuahua mix — a “Greyhuahua” — around 7 years old. He is medically cleared, fully vaccinated, and more than ready to find his forever person. Located in Pasadena 🐾

Emergency foster or adopter needed for Champ, our senior boxer. We are preferably looking for a one-story home with no stairs, as he is struggling physically at his current temp foster due to the stairs being too hard on his body.

Champ is nothing but love. He will be your shadow, your cuddle buddy, and your best friend. This poor guy has been through so much and deserves a secure, safe place where he can finally feel loved and not stressed from moving place to place.

It would mean the world if we could find a boxer lover willing to give Champ the best next few years of his life.

Lazy has come so far. After being an owner surrender and dumped at the shelter as a senior, it’s been a bumpy road since rescuing him but he’s finally on the path to healing and finding his forever home.

Huge thank you to Surf City Pet Hospital for taking such incredible care of him, not just medically, but also helping him heal from the trauma he’s been carrying from his past life.

We are still working to raise funds to cover his medical care, as well as unexpected boarding at our vet costs we had to arrange to keep him safe during this transition. Any support is appreciated and goes directly toward his care.

Lazy is officially ready for adoption or we’d love to find him a foster home.

About Lazy:
• 9-year-old Chow mix but acts way younger 🐾
• ~30 pounds
• Thrives in a mellow home
• Loves walks
• No children preferred (he can do well with older kids, but we are ideally seeking an adult-only home)
• Does well with other dogs, but they must be fixed (he does not do well with unneutered males)

The TM Crew has so many amazing adoptable dogs looking for their forever homes 🐾

Let’s help these sweet pups find loving families so we can continue bringing more dogs into our rescue and save even more lives. All dogs are located in Southern California.

The first step is filling out one of our adoption applications. Once approved, we move forward with a phone call, home check, and meet and greet to make sure the dog is the right fit for the family.

At The TM Crew, we always say we let the dog pick the family, not the family pick the dog. We’ve had many people shop for dogs based only on looks, but adoption is about much more than that. It’s about making sure the dog is truly the right fit for the person or whole family so the placement is successful for everyone.
