I’ve been so busy with the garden that I haven’t been posting much. So let me share what I’ve been up to.
Romance finally started being a rooster and I was able to hatch some of his babies! We have two babies, a white and black baby. Ones name is sweet pea and the others name is chicken nugget. (Thank you Onyx for the beautiful names.) I think out of the silkies I hatched and kept some, most of the whites are boys but the rest seem to be girls yay. 😁
The garden is finally doing things as well. We have tomatoes 🍅, garden beans🫘, cilantro, spinach, carrots 🥕, peppers 🫑 (they were a gift so I forgot what kind), banana peppers 🌶️, pumpkins 🎃 (only two and they haven’t fruited yet), and there’s more that are propagating currently. Like Brussels, okra, sweet peppers 🫑, thyme, and green onions 🧅. Yes…my garden is all in planters but eventually it will be in a raised bed setup.

Happy Mother’s Day! 💐
I’ve been a very busy bee 🐝 in the kitchen all week! I baked three loaves of cheddar jalapeño sourdough. And let me tell you that every 👏 single 👏 last 👏 one 👏 was 👏 perfect!! This has been quite a learning experience for me and I still learn something new every time I bake. 🍞

I finally did it! I finally made the perfect sourdough loaf. Every box is checked ✅ the flavor, the crunch, the texture, the air bubbles, the bounce back! It’s all there finally! I would get everything but the airy bubbles and I finally did it 😭
I hate how I can’t put photos and videos together 🤦🏼‍♀️

Chicks, chicks, and MORE CHICKS! I now have 8 babies outside with 3 mommas watching over them. I don’t have time around here on the farm for broody girls. We need your eggs ladies lol 😂
