🐩 Dallas & Cowboy: Same breed, same family, same groomer.....two VERY different personalities. 🤣

These two little toy poodles come to see Miss Albany, and let us tell you... the personalities could NOT be more different!

🤠 Cowboy: Sweet, laid-back, zero complaints. Just happy to be here. You wanna give him a bath? Sure. A haircut? Sounds great. A kiss? Now we're talking! This little man is just out here enjoying life and minding his business.

💅 Dallas: Has NEVER minded her business a day in her life. She's the CEO, the HR department, AND the customer who demands to speak to the manager. She has opinions, expectations, and absolutely no intention of compromising on either. 🤣

And the worst part? She's so ridiculously cute that she gets away with every bit of it.

One is just happy to be included. The other is pretty sure she owns the building.

Miss Albany absolutely adores these two, and so do we! Two completely different personalities, one perfect little duo, and we wouldn't change a single thing about either of them. ❤️🐾 See you again soon Dallas and Cowboy!

Some friendships pick up right where they left off. And apparently, so do the conversations! 😂❤️

Little Miss Darla recently found her way back to Miss Tracey, and let me tell you, these two had some catching up to do!

Darla is one of Tracey's longtime little girlfriends, and their grooming sessions are something else. This girl TALKS. 😂 She'll sit on that table and carry on a full-blown conversation with Tracey, complete with commentary and opinions 😜. We're pretty sure Tracey knows all the neighborhood gossip by now.

She's sweet as sugar, just spicy enough to keep things interesting, and a total mama's girl. But it's pretty obvious she's got a special place in her heart for Miss Tracey, too.

And judging by these pictures, the feeling is definitely mutual. ❤️

🐾 Good looks, good manners, and a weakness for pretty girls with snacks. That's Benny!

This gorgeous Border Collie mix came to see Miss Arden for a good de-shed and a light contour trim. His mama loves his natural look, and quite frankly, so do we!

Now, at first, Benny might not be the bravest boy on the block, but what he lacked in courage, he more than makes up for in sweetness. A few extra cuddles, some reassurance that he was the VERY best boy, and he was ready to take on the world. Well, maybe not the whole world. Let's not get carried away. 😂

And boy, did he LOVE Miss Arden! He was showing off his tricks, giving her his paw, and doing just about anything to make her happy. Of course, it probably didn't hurt that she's also the resident snack dealer. That girl knows how to make friends! 🤣

We absolutely adored Benny and his sweet little personality. We can't wait to have this handsome fella back for another visit! ❤️🐾

❤️ Some dogs just never grow out of their puppy face, and Remi is living proof! 🥹

Seriously, LOOK AT HIM! Those big brown eyes, that perfect little face... somebody explain to me how this is a real dog and not a stuffed animal from the toy aisle. 😂

This handsome little man has been one of Miss Albany's favorites for quite some time, and it's easy to see why! He's sweet as can be, patient through all the grooming nonsense, and absolutely head over heels for his girl.

And judging by all the kisses and extra loving he gets, we'd say the feeling is pretty mutual. ❤️

Remi, you handsome little heartbreaker, you make it awfully hard for anybody around here to get any work done! 😂🐾

Beauty, brains AND apparently a very good memory for who carries the snacks. 😂

Miss Bertie is truly the whole package. This girl is absolutely stunning, smart as a whip, and always ready to show off everything her mama has worked so hard to teach her. Tell her what you want and she’s basically like, “Got it. What’s next?” 💁‍♀️

And then there’s Miss Arden. These two have become two peas in a pod. Bertie watches her every move, happily does whatever she asks, and clearly thinks Arden hung the moon.

Now… is that entirely because of their beautiful bond? Or does it have something to do with Bertie knowing exactly which pocket Arden keeps the treats in?

We may never know. 😂

Either way, this beautiful girl is an absolute joy to have with us. Smart, sweet, happy, ridiculously photogenic…and perhaps just a tiny bit snack-motivated. ❤️🐾

When dogs walk in looking for "their person" 🥺❤️

This right here is one of our favorite parts of what we do. ❤️

Not the perfect haircut. Not the cute bows. Not even the fresh-out-of-the-salon strut.

It’s getting to watch the relationships that happen somewhere in between all of that.

After a few visits, these dogs KNOW their groomers. They come through the door looking for their person. They know who gives the good scratches, who talks ridiculous baby talk to them, who sneaks the treats… and apparently who makes a perfectly acceptable human pillow halfway through a haircut. 😂

And that trust doesn’t happen by accident.

It comes from being patient with them, respecting their boundaries, learning their quirks, letting them be dogs, and making sure they know that while they’re here, they’re safe, cared for and probably going to be subjected to at least a little nonsense. 😂

Watching those bonds grow behind the scenes is pretty dang special.

Because around here, they may come in as clients…

but it usually doesn’t take long before they’re walking through that door looking for their bestie. ❤️🐾

And we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Y’all… Bonnie is just HAPPY. 😂❤️

This sweet girl came to see Miss Tracey for her very first visit with us for a bath and nails, and apparently she decided Miss Tracey was her new best friend about five minutes in.

She is just pure love—happy, wiggly, full of kisses, and completely convinced that personal space is unnecessary. 😂 And for her first time with us, she did SO good for everything.

And this is your little reminder that not every salon visit has to be a full groom! Regular baths and nail trims are such a good way to keep them clean, comfortable, and used to the whole salon routine.

But judging by these pictures, Bonnie mostly came for the spa day and stayed to hang out with Miss Tracey. 😂👄
We absolutely LOVE THIS GIRL! ❤️

Warning: we are not your typical grooming salon 😝❤️

We know the kind of salon we want to be. And for every dog that walks through our doors, we want them to know they’re safe, understood, and loved beyond measure.

It’s about everything that happens before, during, and after—it's the little moments that have absolutely nothing to do with a perfect haircut, but everything to do with how your dog feels while they’re here.

Sometimes it’s a little reassurance.
Sometimes it’s belly rubs and kisses.
Sometimes it’s treats… okay, sometimes it’s A LOT of treats. 😂
Sometimes it’s getting right down on the floor because somebody has officially decided they are DONE standing on that table.
And sometimes it’s letting a girl lay down and take a little nap while we finish up because… honestly, same, sister. 😂

Every dog is different. And sometimes making them feel safe and comfortable means slowing down, changing the plan, meeting them where they are, and doing things a little differently.

Because at Canine Luxe, we don’t just want your dog to leave looking beautiful.

We want them to walk through our doors knowing they’re somewhere they’re safe, loved, understood—and surrounded by friends. ❤️🐾
