It makes our days when we get pictures like this. 🥹 Mr Diesel is always standing watch for us to pull up and go on his walks. Sweet boy has made so much improvement with his anxiety being around others by getting him out and about for weekly walks.

What an AMAZING Fall Break we've had! Our days have been filled with happy pups, sweet kitties, wagging tails, lots of love, and plenty of playtime!

We are so incredibly thankful to all the families who trusted Young & Loyal Pet Care with their furry family members while they enjoyed their time away. We absolutely LOVE what we do, and getting to spend our days with your pets makes it even better! 🥰

🍂 Fall Break is officially FULLY BOOKED! 🐾

We are so thankful to everyone who trusts us to care for their pets while they’re away! We’re looking forward to a busy week filled with lots of walks, cuddles, and happy faces.

Sometimes I have to stop and think… this is my job. 🥹

Spending my evenings with the sweetest pups, getting some fresh air, and catching skies like THIS! And when the sunset decides to show off during our visit, of course we have to stop for a little photoshoot. Because how could I not capture these for their owners?! It’s the little moments like these that make me love what I do even more.

Some wins look a little different in pet care. 🤍

We care for lots of kitties, and while many are ready to greet us at the door, others would much rather admire us from a very safe distance… or not be seen at all. 😂
I’ve cared for this sweet guy before and never even caught a glimpse of him. I knew he was okay because his food was being eaten and his litter box was being used, so I respected his space and let him feel safe.

Last night was different. I think I may have caught him in the middle of switching hiding spots. Instead of approaching him, I sat down, stayed quiet, talked softly, and gave him time to realize I wasn't there to bother him.

And then… he came THIS close. 🥹

For some cats, this might not seem like much. For him? This was HUGE. He decided exactly how close felt safe, and I let him be in control. Eventually, he headed back to where he felt most comfortable while I got his fresh food and medicine mixed together and cleaned his litter box.

Pet care isn't always about getting cuddles or winning them over. Sometimes it's simply about earning a tiny bit of trust at a time — on their terms. And last night, I'll absolutely count this as a win. 🏆

When the weather is this nice the office relocates outside!! ☀️🍂🐾

Hazel and I are soaking up this gorgeous afternoon while getting a little behind-the-scenes work done. She’s bringing absolutely nothing to the table productivity-wise… but she does make a pretty cute co-worker. 😂

10/10 would choose this office again.

Why does your cat always want to be up HIGH?

The top of the couch. The windowsill. A bookshelf. The highest level of the cat tree… if there’s a perch, they’ll find it. 😂

But there’s actually a reason!

Giving cats access to vertical space can help them:

🐾 Feel safer and more secure
🐾 Observe their surroundings
🐾 Get away when they need some quiet time
🐾 Exercise by climbing and jumping
🐾 Reduce boredom and stress
🐾 Feel like they have more territory — even in a smaller home!

Cat trees, window perches, shelves, or even a cleared-off spot on sturdy furniture can give your kitty a little extra enrichment.

Does your dog have to stop and smell every. single. thing on a walk? Turns out, that’s time well spent!

Sniffing gives dogs mental stimulation, helps reduce boredom and stress, builds confidence, and lets them explore the world the way dogs were meant to.

So whether they’re exploring the yard or taking their sweet time on a walk… let them sniff! Sometimes the best walk isn’t the longest one, it is the one with the most good smells.

And yes, during our visits, we’re happy to let your pup catch up on ALL the neighborhood gossip. 😂
