It’s been a little quiet around here lately… and let’s be honest, August has been a tough month. ❤️

Unfortunately, our family has faced some unexpected health challenges, and our focus has been on making sure the people we love are getting the care and support they need.

But while things may have been quiet here on Facebook, they definitely haven’t been quiet behind the scenes! 🐾 We’ve still been busy with lots of visits with your sweet fur babies, meeting new clients, and making sure everything continues running as usual. ❤️

And don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten about our Pupsicle Giveaway! 🐶🍦 We’ll be drawing our lucky winner soon!

Thankfully, things are starting to look up, and we’re excited to get back to sharing all the adorable faces we’re so blessed to love on every day. 🥰

Thank you for continuing to trust us with your babies and for supporting our little business through all seasons of life. It truly means more than you know.

Remember this sweet girl? 🥹❤️

Not long ago, she was scared, anxious, and unsure of us… and now look at her! 🐾🥰

A little patience, love, consistency, and dedication can make such a huge difference. Watching her learn that she’s safe with us has been the sweetest thing. ❤️

Trust takes time and she was absolutely worth it!🐾

☀️ Hot days call for cool treats for ALL the animals! 🧊

When the summer heat is working overtime, we like to give our animals a little something extra to help them cool down.

🍧 Hazel’s homemade frozen pupsicle is made with blueberries, greek yogurt, peanut butter, banana & a splash of chicken broth. Judging by that smile… 10/10, would recommend. 💜

🐔 The chickens frozen snack consists of cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes & lettuce frozen into one big veggie ice block. Basically a chicken charcuterie boar, but frozen! 🥒🍅

Frozen treats are such a fun way to provide a little enrichment and extra hydration on those HOT summer days! Of course, they’re just a bonus. Plenty of fresh, cool water and access to shade or AC are still a must. ❤️

Potty break? Quick.
Fresh water? Plenty. 💦
A/C? Cranked. ❄️
Guy Fieri on TV? Absolutely essential. 😂🔥

With the heat advisory this week, remember our pets feel the heat too! Keep outside time short, make sure they always have access to plenty of fresh water, and let them enjoy some extra time inside where it’s cool.

Apparently, Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives makes the perfect heat advisory activity. 🤣🐶

This right here is why I love what I do. 🥹🐾

For nearly a week, I spent time with this sweet girl every evening. Not because her parents were gone yet, but because we had something very important to accomplish first - earning her trust. ❤️

She’s an anxious girl who would much rather hide when she’s unsure of someone. And since she needs injections while her parents travel, simply showing up and hoping she’d let me give them wasn’t an option.

So we took our time. I sat with her. Loved on her. Let her come to me on her terms. No rushing, no forcing. Just patience, consistency, and lots of reassurance.

And now? 🥹 This is how she greets me. She comes over ready to cuddle up close, get some love, and comfortably lets me give her injections.

THIS is pet care. ❤️

It’s not always just feeding, walking, and letting dogs outside. Sometimes it’s taking the extra time to understand an animal who can’t tell us with words that they’re scared. It’s building enough trust that they feel safe with us and giving their owners the peace of mind to leave knowing their baby is comfortable, loved, and getting the care she needs.

Knowing her parents can enjoy their trip without worrying about whether she’ll hide from me or whether I’ll be able to give her medication makes every evening I spent earning this sweet girl’s trust 100% worth it.

And I think the cuddles mean she agrees. 🥰🐾❤️
