As we spend time with family, friends, and the pets we love, we pause to reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day and give thanks to those who served and gave everything for our freedom. ❤️🤍💙

We are so excited to have her join the team and can’t wait for all of our clients and patients to get to know her! 🐾💙

🎉 Meet the Team! 🎉
Please join us in welcoming Mariana, LVT, to the Stone Cottage Veterinary Hospital family! 🐾💙
✨ A little about Mariana: I always wanted to work with animals ever since I was young. I felt that I had this connection with them that was stronger than any connection I could get from a person. In high school, I was torn between being a nurse or being a vet nurse. I enrolled in the CNA program and got my certification but working for a bit, I knew this wasn’t for me. I then went to SUNY Ulster after graduation and enrolled into the Veterinary Technology program. I graduated fall 2024 and passed my VTNE May 2025. I finally got my license in July. In my free time I love to draw and watch romance/drama shows with my family. I also love to fish/kayak on the weekends. I have gone camping every year at the end of June with my family since I was born, to Beaver Pond.
🐶 Favorite part of veterinary medicine: Being able to form connections with clients and patients
🐱 Favorite animal/breed:
Wolves/ Timber
☕ Favorite snack/drink during a busy shift:
A crisp cold diet coke with a bag of nacho cheese flavored doritos

4 dogs( Petrie, Luna, Ghost, Teddy)
4 cats(Kakashi, Kenichi, Tabitha, Yellow-kitty)

2 ferrets( Aspen and Gambit)
1 guinea pig( Rosa)
1 rabbit( Milk)
2 parakeets
1 frog
1 fish tank full of a variety of fish
