Remember, consistency is the key to potty training!

Puppies have small bladders and need to be taken potty about once an hour until they get the hang of it. As they grow, they are able to go longer between potty’s. Also, be sure to watch for their cues. As you and your puppy get to know each other it gets easier to recognize when they are searching and in need of going out to potty. Make sure you give lots of praise when your puppy does his or her business outside!

Puppies have a 45-minute bladder capacity at three weeks of age, 75-minute capacity at eight weeks, 90-minute capacity at twelve weeks and two-hour capacity at 18 weeks. Releasing your puppy every hour offers you an hourly opportunity to reward your dog for using a designated toilet area. You do not have to do this precisely each hour, but it is much easier to remember to do so each hour on the hour.

All of Luna’s puppies have gone home as of this morning.

Millie (formerly Tilly) was just picked up by her new owners and I’m sure will be absolutely spoiled rotten.

It’s quiet and a little sad but I know all of the babies are in wonderful homes 🐾💗💙✨
