This weeks fundraiser is for MotorCity Greyhound Rescue. They didn't have a dog for me to cartoon so I thought I would post a little bit about their rescue.
🐾💜 Long legs, big hearts, and second chances! 💜🐾
Meet MotorCity Greyhound Rescue (MCGR), a wonderful volunteer-run nonprofit based in the Detroit area with a HUGE heart for greyhounds and other sighthounds! 🐕❤️
These gentle, graceful pups deserve so much more than a life of racing, hunting, or being discarded when they're no longer considered useful. MCGR believes every hound deserves a soft bed, a loving family, and a forever home where the only race they have to win is the one to the couch! 🛋️💕
🌎 Their compassion reaches around the world! Working with rescue partners in China, Spain, Ireland, Oman, and beyond, MCGR helps give dogs rescued from heartbreaking circumstances a fresh start and a future filled with love.
🏡 Based near Detroit, they generally adopt within a four-hour radius of Detroit and Toronto, helping these beautiful souls find families throughout the region.
💜 MCGR is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit powered by dedicated volunteers, generous supporters, and a whole lot of love. Donations help cover veterinary care and transportation, turning second chances into happy endings!
🐾 Because every hound deserves to leave the past behind and run straight into someone's heart! ❤️
