Blunt K9 LLC At Blunt K9 we don’t just train dogs— we build clarity, structure, and trust.

Whether you are dealing with reactivity or you’re looking to achieve on/off-leash functional obedience, we meet your dog where they are and bring them to where they need to be.

Same Dog. Different Response. 🐾

Does your dog bark, lunge, or pull whenever another dog is nearby?

Meet Pepsi! 🐾

Reactivity isn’t just about stopping the barking or lunging. It’s about teaching your dog how to respond differently.

Through structure, clear communication, impulse control, and functional obedience, we’re helping Pepsi make better decisions and remain neutral around distractions.

The goal isn’t interaction. It’s neutrality.

Every dog is different, and understanding the behavior is the first step toward building an effective training plan.

Struggling with your dog’s behavior?

Stop guessing. Start with an evaluation.

Goldie and Lola putting their training to work! 🐾🖤💛

Both girls are learning how to make better choices, stay engaged with their handler, and maintain their obedience around everyday distractions. Real-world exposure like this helps reinforce everything they’ve been learning and prepares them for a more structured and enjoyable life with their owners.

This is what we love to see, progress that goes beyond the training environment and carries over into everyday life.

From being extremely chaotic in the car, barking, whining, and unable to settle, to calmly enjoying the ride.

Lola is showing great progress!

This is a perfect example of why two things are so important:

1. Crate training: A crate isn't just for confinement. It teaches a dog how to settle, relax, and be comfortable without constantly needing stimulation or attention. In the car, it also provides a clear and controlled space where the dog can learn to remain calm.

2. Structure: Dogs thrive when expectations are clear and consistent. Structure teaches them that they don't have to react to everything happening around them. Instead, they learn how to regulate themselves, make better choices, and simply relax.
The goal isn't just obedience. It's teaching the dog how to exist calmly in everyday situations.

Is your dog struggling to settle, constantly whining, barking, or becoming overly excited in everyday situations?
We can help.

Meet Goldie

Goldie, our gentle Golden Retriever puppy, is learning that confidence starts with structure.

At Blunt K9, we focus on building a solid foundation from the very beginning. Through clear communication, consistency, and guidance, Goldie is learning the basics that will help her grow into a well-mannered and reliable companion.

Puppy training isn’t just about teaching commands, it’s about creating good habits before unwanted behaviors become part of everyday life.

If you’re ready to give your puppy the best start possible, we’re here to help.
