Out of WTF Black Mamba (black) and Thrive H4’s B.Bob (broken black otter).
Likely to be a bigger girl, easy coat coming in!! Lacking in chest with long ugly ears, she is NOT a show animal. I never plucked her baby coat, but matting is very minimal and she will be stripped down before leaving.

Very much a BROOD rabbit
Out of Thrive H4’s Tootsie (chocolate otter) and Emerald View’s Chester (chestnut).
Likely to be a bigger girl, she is THICK. The muscling that Chester puts on his babies is insane.
Lacking in chest with long ugly ears, she is NOT a show animal. Most of her baby coat has been plucked, but her chest has knotted up a bit and will be taken care of before leaving.

Anyone interested in some big ugly does? 
100% NOT showstoppers, but decent parts and great moms.
The blue otter is definitely a false dwarf, the black otter could go either way - I haven’t bred her enough to confirm whether or not she throws peanuts, but she doesn’t give the false dwarf vibe IMO. 
They are half sisters, sharing the same mother.
Early-to-mid 2025 babies, will have to check pedigrees. They are out of my broody black otter doe, OA’s Big Bertha. The blue otter is out of FT’s Perry, a blue otter buck, and the black otter is out of Reeder Farmhouse W***y, a chocolate otter buck.

The time has come again and I’ll be looking to disperse most, if not all, of the silkies over the coming weeks.
There are about 30 left, almost all are NB partridge, and most are close to 2 years and older.

Thrive H4 B.Bob and his 3 sons (2 does not pictured).
These boys are making decisions DIFFICULT.
All three were exhibited in the double last weekend and they flip flopped placings between the two shows, so that wasn’t helpful lol
Do I need to keep the whole litter? NO. Is it tempting? You betcha. 😫
They’ll hang out until I get them up on the table a few more times, but eventually at least one will be looking for a new barn.

Close to home double show today at the Knox County Fall Brawl in Mount Vernon, Ohio.
Tito (broken black tort) and Uno (black otter) both received Best Opposite of Breed.

Spent the afternoon making some new nest boxes for the rabbits. Really pleased with how they turned out 😁
Now hopefully I can get the does to take and put these to good use! Zero success these last three rounds of breeding and I REALLY don’t want to go much further out to avoid having littles in the barn come actual Fall. 🤞
