🐾☀️ Wags 2 Riches Rescue had an amazing time attending Ivy Pets’ End of Summer PawBQ! 🐶💙

We brought along our sweet Rocco, who is **currently available for adoption through Wags 2 Riches**. Rocco was found on Forest Avenue with severe signs of abuse and neglect, ultimately requiring a necessary tail amputation. Thankfully, the good “dogtors” at Ivy Pets Co. helped give Rocco the care he desperately needed. 🩺🐾

Today, Rocco is healing, happy, and ready for his next chapter! ❤️

Every donation to **Wags 2 Riches Rescue** helps us provide medical care, rehabilitation, food, and love to dogs just like Rocco. 🐕✨

🤎 Berto is posing all angels. He has healed from his life threatening surgery and he is showing off his puptastic features!

🩺 Our pals at Ivy Pets - Midwood, Brooklyn Full Pet Service did a pawmazin job bringing him into his new life healthy as he can be. 💜 His sponsors holdfast_photography_ & Cortney cared and loved him back to a dog that knows what it's like to feel kindness and love. We are teaching Bert the yes and no's of the world and that not everyone will leave him in his time of need.

Bert is ready for you to meet him. He loves long walks, a good squeak toy, paling around on a regular day, car rides are his favorite. He is still a young boy with plenty of silliness!

🐾✨This is a pupdate about the bulldog that was found abandoned in Silver Lake this past Monday, who has been named Dolly Parton by the good samaritan who has welcomed her into her home, and has claimed financial responsibility at this time* to get this sweet girl on the track to her second chance at life.

Dolly has been described as the “sweetest thing ever”, even though all of her behaviors at this time lead us to believe that she has never lived life outside of a crate. It is also visibly clear that she has been bred multiple times, which has also resulted in a myriad of health issues that need to be addressed.

We cannot say enough good things about Francetta, who has done something so selfless for this beautiful little lady since the moment she found her. Please share and consider donating towards Dolly Parton’s second chance at life. 🤍✨🐾

😨 And another pawphan finds her way to the Paw Souls Inn....

We are at capacity at wags, but when our pals at the 120pct. called and said this paw pawphan had been there for several days with hopes of an adopter and that fell through. They said she is as sweet as 🥧.... Not only was she the sweetest gal. Her story had gotten the best of all our emotions and we had to save her. The "🗑 dog". Yes, the police and animal rescuers have seen animals in trash before, but what makes her case even more wretched is they LOCKED her in a crate. Locked in a crate, dumped in the trash with no fighting chance! Thank barkness for our nypd getting her out and safley to the precinct!

Now... DARLA is ready to start a new

❤️‍🩹 We need the good souls of the community's help! We are pulling many pawphans but we are barely making donations

😱 We are working as best we can with all the dogs coming into the 120 precinct as we are in an extreme homeless pet crisis. Everyday a new pawphan 😔
Wags has brought our barktastic officers extra crates for the dogs while they are there. And Christopher Wiackley donated dog food. We have seen first hand the officers on tour taking care of the dogs. Walking them, playing, feeding, calls with pleas of help so they find good homes. They are doing their best in a broken system. Since the short time wags has been open we have saved many dogs together 🫡 and hope we can continue the mission for better a tomorrow.

It sure was a busy day at Wags! 🐾
This evening, Wags was contacted by Susi Garcia about this sweet little lady who was found on a solo adventure in the 10301 area code. After a quick set of aura photos and enough time to make a lifelong friendship, this little lady was picked up and brought back to the rescue for her 72-hour stray hold.

It became clear very quickly that this little girl was in dire need of some TLC, so Wags volunteers jumped into action to get her one step closer to feeling brand new. ✨
