Josephine, the tuxedo kitten This kitty was severely injured and made the road to recovery, thanks to a wonderful foster parent. She has since been adopted by two loving parents!

This kitten was found by a good Samaritan on Nostrand Avenue in Brooklyn, filthy, bleeding and horribly disfigured. She was rushed to Animal Care and Control who, in turn, sent out an urgent plea to participating rescues and veterinary hospitals in the NYC area. She was fostered back to health, as she recovered from facial wounds that resulted either from being kicked or from a fall. Other than a

damaged tooth that had to be removed, you can hardly tell she's ever been through such trauma. She's a dainty lady with a lot of energy, a big voice (watch the video), and a propensity for love (preferably head butts).
