Sapphire is 4lb little girl who is an absolute love sponge. Come meet her at our adoption event on Sunday May 31st, 12PM to 3PM

412 Troutman Street
Bushwick, Brooklyn 11237

She just wants pets and kisses and is very engaging and reliant on humans.
She is a sedate rabbit for the most part. Likes to just chill or hang out. Not much of a chewer from what we have observed. She is very enthusiastic over greens and will sn**ch them from you as soon as she sees them.

This poor bunny was dumped outside and had tons of ticks crawling on her and she was starving. She was boney when we found her but has since put on weight. Sapphire is young, healthy and spayed

The adoption fee is $125 for one rabbit and $200 for a bonded pair, and includes all rabbits being spayed/neutered.

Bunny Butt Friday!
Today's bouncing badonkadonk belongs to adoptable Blossom!

AARR volunteers were recently called about a growing population of abandoned domestic rabbits in a Suffolk County neighborhood. What started as a few sightings has turned into a crisis: 10+ adult rabbits and multiple litters of babies living outside, vulnerable and multiplying.

Blossom was one of the rabbits that have been rescued thus far. She's clearly very grateful to be safe and has settled in quite nicely to her foster home. She is friendly, brave and already quite good with her litterbox, despite not being spayed yet. She enjoys checking out her surroundings from atop of her igloo hidey house. Blossom is approximately 3 months old and will be spayed once she is old enough. Please reach out to [email protected] for an adoption application. The adoption fee is $125

Summer fosters needed.

New girl Kiki was rescued from living among a group of rabbits in Suffolk County. The population would have continued to grow had we not intervened to capture her and the others.

She is sweet and unassuming, with pleading sensitive puppy dog eyes. The way to win her over will be woth snacks, as she is a good eater. Kiki has already been spayed.

She could really use a foster home to give her some one on one attention and TLC. If you can commit to 3 months or until adopted, and reside in Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, west Long Island or Bergen County, NJ reach out to [email protected]

Summer foster homes needed!

Taupie needs a new foster home. This time of year everyone is taking a vacation and we need to find alternate placement for some of our buns. Ideally, this would be in Queens, Brooklyn, Western LI, or Manhattan. Further away would be considered case by case. Please be willing to commit to 3 months minimum or until adopted.

Taupie is an adult spayed medium size female. She was a stray living among a colony of abandoned rabbits in Long Island. Understandably, she is shy and sometimes nervous, but is warming up and learning to trust humans. She would do best in a low-traffic, calm home.

Her foster writes,
"She really seems to love listening when I talk to her—she’ll sit and just listen—and it’s funny because she clearly does not enjoy it when I play music from my phone, but when I play piano and sing, she’ll come over and sit as close to me as she possibly can. She also genuinely enjoys toys. I have a little ball that I fill with pellets, and she’ll roll it around to get them out, and she seems really pleased with herself when she figures it out."

Come meet Taupie and others while getting more info at our Bushwick event this Sunday, May 31st.

Meet Miso.

He was found wandering the streets in Fresh Meadows, Queens in early March. Some cruel person took him from his mother at way too young of an age. We estimate he was only about a month old. Luckily, a good Samaritan scooped him up and got in contact with us right away. He was craving love and attention and happily accepted pets and snuggles and gave kisses to his foster mom in return.

As you can see, Miso is very handsome and has the most strikingly beautiful coat. Even though he knows his looks and cuteness are off the charts, he's still very sweet and humble. He seeks out the company of humans and is not afraid. He enjoys smooches and being pet and will reward you with his gentle little kisses.

Miso has an excellent temperament and is quite enthusiastic about mealtime. He loves his fresh hay and herbs and he also has pretty good litter box habits considering his age.

He will be neutered once he is old enough. In the meantime, he is looking for a home to call his own.

Come meet Miso and others while getting more info at our Bushwick event this Sunday, May 31st

Say hello to Portia! She was rescued after being dumped in Suffolk County. She is very sweet. When she sees her foster she will come running right over to say hello, but at times can also be a little shy. We have no idea what her life was like before, but she is adjusting very well to her new foster home.

Portia has a good appetite and overall and has been known to gobble up her offerings. Other times, she eats in the typical style of the French, taking small bites and savoring every morsel.

Portia has very good litter box skills and has gotten along well with one of the other rabbits in her foster home so we think she will make an easy bonding partner for the right eligible bachelor.

Please consider opening your heart and home to this very deserving lady. You can meet her at our adoption event on Sunday May 31st, 12 PM to 3 PM

Bunny Butt Friday!
Today's remarkable rumps belong to Shannon and Gaspar.

Shannon and Gaspar are a mother son duo looking for a fresh start. Mom was taken in by a local shelter after being removed from a home where there were over 70 rabbits living together. She gave birth a few days later. When AARR heard about this, we decided to take in the little family of 3 so they could grow in a quiet and calm environment, away from the chaos of a shelter.

Fast forward a few months and Shannon's twin boys are growing and beginning to squabble, so one was brought to a new foster home. The bond between Shannon and Gaspar was so strong that we could not bear to separate them.

They are very sweet and loving rabbits that are easy to handle and thrive on attention. They enjoy being pet and will just steal your heart the minute you meet them.

Shannon has been spayed and Gaspar will be neutered once he is old enough.
Inquiries can be made via [email protected]

Adopted!
The sister duo formerly known as Sherry & Terry have found their home. They waited a while, as most pairs do, but it was definitely worth it to land with this family!

Their adopters tell us...
"Shayna and Punim have filled us with so much joy and laughter. It’s been amazing to see their personalities blossom. Shayna loves pets and is lazy while Punim loves to jump on our kitchen table! They are smart buns who even have learned that “bunny, bunny, bunnies!” means food or treats (although, we didn’t mean to teach them that.) Lloyd loves falling asleep on the couch and waking up to them cuddling near him. Sara loves opening the bedroom door in the morning to see them waiting. We are so happy to give these bunnies their forever home 🏠✨"

We wish Shayna, Punim, Lloyd and Sara eternal hoppiness!
