It's Bunny Butt Friday!
This week's splendid seat belongs to adoptable Sucre.

Sucre is just as sweet as her name implies. She was born just 36 hours after her mom was rescued and is now ready for a new home of her own. Sucre has a somewhat shy temperament. She enjoys soft pets on her head after warming up to you a bit. She is just a baby so she is still figuring out the world.

She loves her timothy and alfalfa hay and having a good place to hide or a fun tunnel to run through. She also enjoys sitting on top of her hidey hut to get a better view of things. Sucre is too young to be spayed so that will be done at a future date. If you are looking to add a little sweetness to your life then Sucre is your lady.

These babies are named Cleffa and Wigglytuff (FEMALES) and Gideon and Reuben (MALES). They were born on May 18th, 2026 and they consisted of 8 babies total, but 2 females and 2 males still need rehoming.

They are now bigger than when this pic was taken and will be sturdy, good sized rabbits when grown.

Their mother is a rescued meat rabbit who was found on the side of a busy road in Central PA. She escaped from a backyard operation that had switched to raising rabbits after they failed to raise chickens. The mom, named Sable was rescued by a kind woman who brought her to safety. Upon intake, Sable gave birth to 8 precious babies and has proved to be an excellent mother.

The babies have been handled from birth and are very friendly and affectionate. They are curious and love to explore as they zip and zoom around their mama.

The babies will be spayed/neutered once they are old enough and this will be arranged by our rescue with our trusted vets.

Adopted!
Applejack was adopted early this year, and we recently got these pics of him looking very comfy and loved.

He came into our care last year as part of an "accidental" litter, which is really no accident when people don't spay and neuter their rabbits.

His sisters Pear and Kiwi are still waiting for the right homes to come along and make them just as happy as their brother!

On this Bunny Butt Friday the charming cheeks belong to adoptable Chessie !

This beautiful Lionhead was rescued after being abandoned outside a veterinary office in Kensington Brooklyn. She is currently being cared for by a lovely foster who stepped up to help her find her new forever home.

She is very playful and likes to hop up to couches and beds to sit with her human companions. She has not yet interacted with other pets or with kids, but she loves every adult visitor she’s had! She can be a little skittish at first but warms up to people very quickly and loves to be pet.

Once she is done exploring you can find her loafing in the corner of the room or she retreats to her enclosure to relax. She enjoys Timothy hay, pellets and a variety of fresh greens. Chessie is the sweetest rabbit and everyone loves her!

The adoption fee is $125, and includes all rabbits being spayed/neutered.

Meet Chili Pepper 🌶

She was seen hanging out with a group of Eastern Cottontails when someone noticed she seemed different than the others and reached out for help. She was brought to safety soon after.

When we took her in she was missing half her nose, but that injury was healed over and causes no issues. Chili Pepper is a petite Mini Rex who is estimated to be one year old. She has been spayed and is ready to find her new home. She takes snacks gently from your hand and has been known to give kisses 💋

If you are looking for a little spice in your life then this is the gal for you. She is smart, energetic and always keeping herself busy. She has a sweet, spunky personality and will definitely keep you on your toes. She loves to run, zoom, explore and climb. Chili has been known to escape her enclosure from time to time just looking for that taste of freedom.

On this Bunny Butt Friday, the adorable arse belongs to adoptable Amari.

Amari was born just 36 hours after her mom was rescued. She was the littlest of the litter but she showed everyone her strength and determination and is now ready for a new home of her own.

Amari has a sweet and somewhat shy temperament. She enjoys soft pets on her head after warming up to you a bit. Her fur is velvet soft. She is just a baby so she is still figuring out the world and what she thinks of it. She loves her timothy and alfalfa hay and having a good place to hide or a fun tunnel to run through.

Amari is too young to be spayed so that will be done at a future date and arranged by AARR.

Adopted!
Penne has found her home with a bonded partner after speed dating at one of our recent adoption events in Bushwick.

Her new human writes,
"Penne quickly settled in with her new best friend Cleo. Together they play all day, get into all sorts of ruckus, and whisper secrets to each other. 
She is so so cuddly and likes to jump up to sit on my lap when I am reading. She is the perfect addition for our little family- thanks AARR!"
