red bump on navel piercing
PLEASE HELP wtf is this it just appeared tonight. it doesn’t hurt, even when i touch it. it’s almost jelly like but doesn’t seem to be filled with fluid or anything. also to add, it looks more closed(?) at the top of the piercing. is it possible for a piercing to prolapse? will it go away or should i go to the doctor?

any advice with healing 2nd lobe piercing
I got my 2nd lobes pierced 2 weeks ago, my right ear has been smooth healing. No issues, swelling, or anything uncomfortable. My left ear however has been pretty difficult. Some days it’s perfectly fine, the next day it’s back to being as swollen and sensitive as the day I got it pierced. I spray them with salt water twice a day & use an antibacterial soap my piercer recommended. I have multiple facial piercings but this is my first time healing an ear piercing so just wanted to ask for any advice from anyone who has experience healing on their ears.

Is my piercing rejecting?
I got my bottom lip angel fangs pierced on the 6th, and I can't tell if it's the swelling that went down or that they're migrating because blood sometimes comes out of the left one and kinda hurts. I know that they hurt for a bit, but they only started hurting like this two days ago, and they didn't before, so idk these are my first facial piercings. and as for saline cleaner, I use the neilmed piercing aftercare mist and clean around the balls with a Q-tip twice a day, and whenever I eat. So, any advice for this type of piercing would be great, thank you! 🙏🏻

Piercing bump or keloid
I never get keloids I have nine piercings including this one. It's squishy and hurts. Comes and goes and it shrinks every once in a while. Any advice and how to get rid of it. On the worst piercings Ive had to heal.

navel 😛
just wondering if my piercing looks like it’s healing well, or regularly or poorly… i’m NAP and have a tendency to kinda stress about little things lol. it occasionally leaks like uh pus (?) like a whitish fluid, but not much or often. sometimes i move the bar around cause it’s fun and you can’t tell me not to i mean come on. never gets red, swollen, or irritated, unless it gets snagged significantly (then it might get a little tender, for like a day).

little over 3 months old, haven’t changed anything but i really want to lol. i usually clean like every day with saline but sometimes i forget cause i’m human.. my ears both healed REALLY well, like, i didn’t even clean my second and they were still good in like 4 months.

Tragus bump
Hi everyone! I got my tragus pierced about 4 months ago, and it had been healing perfectly with no issues at all. Unfortunately, about two weeks ago I went on vacation. I accidentally fell asleep on the plane while wearing my AirPods, so I think that may have irritated the piercing. While I was away, I was also cleaning my ears frequently because I was constantly swimming and getting water in them. In the process, I accidentally bumped the jewelry several times.

A bump started forming and grew incredibly fast. I was keeping an eye on it, and within just a couple of days it had grown to the size it is now. I actually had a similar bump on my conch piercing before, and I managed to get rid of it using a crushed aspirin and water paste (probably not the best idea, but it worked!). With this one, though, I’m nervous to try the same thing since it’s inside my ear and I don’t want any of the paste getting into my ear canal.

Luckily it doesn't hurt or bother me at all and there's nothing coming out of it.

Does anyone have advice on how I should treat this bump or help it go down?

Rook Piercing Help
Got my rook done around 2 months ago and I noticed it looked super short compared to the photo I took of it when I first got it pierced. Then, I noticed that it has a huge red piercing bump which was tucked away out of sight behind the forward helix area. What should I do now? It has not been downsized, and it has a curved titanium barbell in it. I use saline spray and a travel pillow but sometimes may sleep on it accidentally? First and second photo are it now - third is when I first got it pierced. Looking for advice on if I should take it out or if I can fix this myself? I can probably go back to my piercer next week but not immediately

what do I do
piercing is about five weeks old. Every time I clean it the jewelry twists because it’s so big which I know it’s supposed to be big for swelling. This is my first piercing and I did it on a whim with friends so I’m learning everything I’ve read says it’s just an irritation bump because I snagged it on week three but it hasn’t gone down. I’m worried it’s a keloid at this point.

Question about cartilage piercing
Hello redit! I got this piercing not even a week ago (last Friday) and over the last couple days has been causing me a lot of pain! It’s a straight bar and isn’t old enough to be downsized. I use the typical saline once in the morning one before bed. I guess my question is if the bar is too small? There is no room for wiggle room. And just hurts overall like a constant throbing. It’s not warm to the touch. Should I go back and get an upsize or do we think it’s okay :)

NOTE! The red bump next to it is a scar from my previous industrial fail

Is this a sign of rejection?
-the piercing is turning 6 months old
-titanium gem threaded type
-has not been downsized
-I thoroughly wash or clean with safeguard body wash then pat it dry and use a mini fan to avoid infection
