Hey, gang.... just a head's up! Derren and I's friend Mistletoe, the lady who officiated our wedding, is trying to raise a little bit of cash for a personal family emergency, and I've given her permission to use the Cat's Meow as she needs to try and do so. She's dj'ing a party there at 5:30 PM SLT today, with possibly more to come. If you're free, please drop by and say howdy!
Also, just a reminder, the club is always open to the public, with streamed WW2 era music, so drop by any time!

Soooooo..... today is Derren and my's one year wedding anniversary!!!! Woot! I have to work a double, RL, but we're planning a party tomorrow at the club to celebrate. I believe the time we agreed on was 3:30 PM SLT, though I have slept since that conversation. LOL! Anyway, we'd love all our friends and family to pop over and have fun with us!

I just thought we should let everyone know that, due to RL issues, Derren is having to take a hiatus from SL. (We are still very much friends in RL, and our SL marriage is as strong as ever.) The club will continue, and I (Tel) will be asking for volunteers in the near future to help plan parties, and of course, we are always open to the public still.... 24/7/365. If anyone wants to plan their own party there, whether open to all or a private affair, just IM me inworld. Love and Light to all our friends and family from both of us.

Thanks to our dear friend, Mistletoe Ethaniel, we now have a kiosk at the club that allows you to "check in" on Google+, Facebook, and one other service (which I can't remember atm, because it's not one I've heard of before... lol!). Wednesday, the 14th, is Derren's Rezday, so we're throwing a shindig at the club! Tel won't be home from work before 7 SLT, but if anyone is on earlier, and Derren can be (internet is kinda iffy sometimes before that hour for him) feel free to drop by! Oh, and any DJ's that might wanna work in the genre for just tips (The DJ that did the grand opening made good monieSL! ), feel free to IM either of us inworld beforehand! (Might wanna try Tel first, as I have the next three days off work, RL, and will be off and on SL more.)

*Personal note* I would really love to see our friends and family there, to help me celebrate the gift that the SLuniverse gave me in my babydoll! (OK, yeah, sappy stuff, but he makes me SO happy! *Tel*)

So, I log into SL to see if Derren is gonna be able to make it in tonight, and work on the sim a bit, and get a random notecard from a buyer interested in one of my MarketPlace builds, but wants to see it rezzed inworld. Turns out, she lives in a 1940's sim! I mentioned the club, and she was delighted, and now both she and her husband are members of the Cat's Meow Family! We're growing, folks!

Thank you, thank you to all of you that made the opening of the club such a success! It was lovely.... seeing old friends, making new ones, and having many of the family there! A very special thanks goes to Mistletoe Ethaniel (who isn't on FB), who stepped in at the last minute after our DJ had to back out for RL reasons. Her tunes were purrrrrfect!
Our only regret was that Derren's connection didn't allow him to be there, but, like some of you suggested.... we now have an excuse to do Grand Opening V2!
We're now officially open, so don't be strangers! \0/
(Ummmmmmmmm..... I was so busy talking to everyone, that I didn't get any pics, so if anyone DID, can I please get copies, or can you post them on here? Thanks in advance!)

Soooo... we talked about it, and the grand opening will be next Sunday, at 5 PM... however.... the club will be open to the public tonight, 2/20, at 5 PM SLT! :D
