If anyone knows of anyone with Bulldog experience and would be a perfect fit for a 7.5 YO amazing English Bulldog who needs to be an only baby 4-legged wise and a younger brother kids 12+ AND who needs a fur mom/ fur dad who has some training experience (possesivness/ some aggression (but only towards other dogs or if you are trying to take something away with force)) please send them my way! I have male English Bulldog who needs a forever home without young children (12+ only) or any other pets and with Bulldog experience. Active boy, in great shape, healthy, with up- to date shots and veterinary care. Will elaborate further with the right person. some pictures attached.
His first home unfortunately had to let him go because of long-term planned travel and the second home just had an accident (he has been there for 3 years and they recently had twin girls that started crawling and he bit one. The situation is not as black and white as it seems. He has never bit anyone in the family (or ever!!), the owners are saddened but don't have enough time and agree this was a freak accident that could have been avoided.
I fostered him in-between homes for 3 months and he is a total mush!!!
-------------------Here is is a little something from the owners--------------------
7.5 yo male English Bulldog in excellent shape. A really great dog for caring adults. He is a homebody of a dog that likes to roam around the house or yard never going too far. Very friendly and playful with adults and older kids. Likes to play fetch with a tennis ball or tug of war. Sleeps and eats well and has no problems pooping. He made regular trips to the vet twice per year. In the spring and fall he suffers from skin allergies, but give the proper medicine his coat looks great. Quote from the vet on 5/24/14 “best coat on a bulldog I have seen”. All of his vaccinations are up-to date.
Very loyal dog that likes to sleep at the foot of the bed or outside the door. Loves to have his belly rubbed and behind his ears scratched. He doesn't play well with other dogs. He becomes very aggressive when another dog approaches him. Very possessive of his toys. If a child or another dog tries to take his toys, he will bite. Because of this he doesn't do well at the Dog parks or around small children.
He likes to travel in the car. Seems to adjust well to new environments. In thunder and lighting storms he gets scared and wants to be close to people. Anybody who has ever met him says he is a great dog.
