Urban K-9 Dog Training

It was a fun night at the Badass Bash. The years really do fly by now. 15 years ago I got a call from the original founder of Badass, Sara Cross, looking for help with a rescue they had in Brooklyn. It was one of the first dogs they had rescued. This began a relationship that has lasted ever since. It has been such a pleasure to help new owners help train their rescue dogs throughout the years. Thank you to my clients that donated to the Bash this year. A couple pictures surfaced from the night. Fellow trainer Lulu and I and Sara Cross too!

As part of this years Badass Committee I am on a mission to raise $5,000 to help rescue 5 dogs and contribute towards a committee goal of 30,000.

Badass is a 501 (c) 3 dog rescue based in Brooklyn, NY. They rescue the most vulnerable dogs regardless of their breed, age, or size from underserved shelters and communities.

I would love to raise money this year In memory of Stephen Merchant a long time foster and client of mine who crossed over the Rainbow Bridge 🌈 this summer. In his honor Id love to be able to help 5 more dogs 🐕 get rescued.

Anything you can donate is helpful or if you’d like to buy tickets to the Badass Bash I’ve supplied a link for that as well. If you are unable to contribute I understand but if you could help by just mentioning Badass to folks you may know who are looking to adopt a dog that would be wonderful! Click on the donate link in my bio and please mention Dani. Thank you for your support. Please share with your friends and family.

Cash posing in Crown Heights by a mural yesterday. He also got to visit the local chickens too. Cash is getting some brush up lessons to get him back on track. He was starting to lunge at people and dogs. He had a nice time working on attention to his owners, look, leave it, heeling, sit stay and down stay and place with distractions. Paying attention to his owners is going to be his key to success.

Tethering is a great way to create calmness, relaxation and management into your home. Use a chew proof tether and be sure to supervise your dog. Give them fun toys to chew on and a soft surface to lay on.
