Grace and Merri! July 1974 Clove Lake Horse Show. Merri won grand champion in the jumpers on McDonald and Grace took reserve champion on Percolator. Truly unbeatable sisters!!!!

Grace & Merri with their Father. They were doing a photo shoot for the newspaper because both Grace & Merri were about to ride in the National Horse Show at Madison Square Garden. Merri is age 5 (about to turn 6 in December) showing the super pony Boll Weevil in the Pony Hunter Division and Grace was about to show a big chestnut thoroughbred named Tippy Hills in the Regular Working Hunter Division. Grace had just turned 17. This puts the year at about 1963.
