I still remember the day my human found me. I was cold, hungry, and completely alone. Everyone had walked past me… but he didn’t.
He knelt down, wrapped me in his jacket, and whispered, “You’re safe now. I’ve got you.”
From that moment, he became my whole world.

But lately… things have changed. He’s always busy, always tired. Some days he leaves without even saying goodbye.
I sit by the door for hours, just waiting for the sound of his footsteps.
I don’t need gifts. I don’t need treats.
I just need him to look at me the way he used to…
To remember that I’m not just a dog—
I’m his best friend,
Waiting for him to come home.

Because a dog doesn’t forget love… even when humans do.
