Luther (aka Vegas) and Aspen (aka Pixie) a few months later. They are growing up to be beautiful doggies. Luther lives in NJ with his family and Aspen lives in the east village with his dad. So happy they have such great lives.

Scooby' surgery was a huge success!! She's home and wants to jump and play! She's more bothered by the cone of shame than anything else. In 2 weeks, her stitches come out and she is good to go to find a forever home. This little lady will be coming to NYC. She's 25 pounds and one year. She will be looking for her forever home in March.

Lucy, once Peaches, is getting big. She's a smart girl her mommy tells us. She's able to move furniture so she can climb to get things and she unzips couch cushions and takes out all the stuffing. Luckily she has a family that totally gets her and believes in training.

Scooby wanted to thank all her donors. Today she was able to start the process to get the heart surgery she needs. She went to the vet for an overall health exam so she could be referred to be right heart surgeon. She's scheduled to see that specialist Thursday am and hoping he can fit her in very quickly. Because of our amazing social media community, we raised the entire $5000 needed. Scooby is a one year old corgi mix who is 25 pounds and will be 20 when she's able to be active again. She's so sweet and beyond beautiful. Once she has the surgery she will live a normal active life.

Jada's pups are 5 weeks old today and will be ready for adoption in March. We are helping to place the pups! The puppies were born in rescue in South Carolina. They are border collie lab mixes and very social and healthy. To learn more about adopting go to www.unleashedny.org rescue adopt. We will only place pups in homes where there is someone home most of the day or with a family who can bring their pup to work because they will only be 9 weeks old. Adopting does require 2 trips to NYC and we won't adopt out a puppy without a visit first.

Scooby says thank you to her Angels who have gotten her so close to being able to schedule her surgery. She and her sister were rescued 6 months ago but when it was time to leave the vet detected something wrong with her heart valve. The rescue couldn't afford to invest in 5k surgery and she probably wouldn't have made it through transport. We want to give this pup the gift of life. Please help us raise 1400 more so her valve can be surgically repaired. She's a great dog and will live a very happy life with this surgery. Poor Scooby. She's not getting any stronger and with each day we have to keep her calm and she can't run and play like other 1 year old dogs. She's such a loving little girl and deserves a new leash on life. She's waiting for a heart surgery. Even if we can raise $2500 that's a deposit for the vet. Please help us save this sweet girl. update: we have our fosters

We need one more foster starting next Saturday. It's for a black lab/golden retriever 14 week old pup. She's adorable and it probably will be a week but could be 2.
