Remember earlier this year we rescued 11 dogs from a meat truck after you all rallied round to raise the funds for us to care for them? Well 9 of those babies are now home with their amazing forever families and we are so grateful to you all for making this happen and to their wonderful families for giving them the lives they deserve 🥹🥹🥹. Their story is truly a testament to what a small but dedicated community can achieve when we come together for the dogs.

Our sweet pom Rhodes is still recovering with the vet after her surgery and will be flying to her forever family very soon, and we’ll never forget sweet Jia who passed away shortly after rescue and never got the chance to have a family of his own but was at least surrounded by love in the end.

Thank you to everyone who shared, donated & supported us. These pups are happy and safe and loved forever because of you all. We’re forever grateful 🤍

Our sweet baby boy Flipper is STILL looking for his forever home! 🏠

Flipper was rescued in South Korea and is currently being fostered in Washington DC. He is adoptable on the East Coast, USA (adopters must be willing to pick up).

We can’t understand how this sweetie hasn’t been scooped up yet!

Flipper is under 1 year old, a Doodle mix, and incredibly friendly and affectionate. He gets along well with all other dogs and humans he has met. He is doing great with training (obedience and almost exclusively pottying outside!). Safe to say he has adjusted wonderfully to his foster home.

This boy is truly a dream dog who just wants to love and be loved. 💗

Meet a very, very special boy… MANGO! 🥭

Mango is an absolute fighter with a heart of gold. Rescued in South Korea after being hit by a car while walking outside alone, he underwent spinal surgery and has been working hard in rehabilitation for his hindlimb paralysis. 

Despite everything he’s been through, Mango’s spirit is remarkably bright, affectionate, and people-oriented. He loves following his foster mom closely, asking for pets, and going on fast-paced, wheelchair-assisted walks where he can pull slightly ahead and manage slopes like a pro. He is quiet, learns rules quickly, and gets along wonderfully with people and other dogs. 

Mango is an extra-special boy who will require an adopter ready to provide some extra TLC. He is currently making wonderful strides in his recovery- recent rehabilitation assessments show exciting signs of nerve return as he regains sensation, and his therapists are hopeful that building core strength could help him walk without a wheelchair in the future. He handles his routine with grace, including manual bladder expression to keep him healthy and independent bowel movements.

This is Moo, previously Mollie. She was saved by The Big 3 Rescue where she underwent extensive ear surgery due to an ear infection. This left her a little bit wobbly on her feet, but she manages fantastic and has recovered incredibly well. She's a lot more stable than she used to be, and we love updates like these.

Moo went for a groom and now she's Halloween ready. For now, we'll nickname her Boo. 👻

Introducing Yogi ✨

This happy little girl is one of the 6 dogs we took in from the local shelter after we brought them back to get them bathed and couldn’t bare to send them back. The team said she is just the happiest little girl, full of love and joy. The vets estimate she’s 7-8 years old but she is so incredibly playful and still acts like a happy little puppy 🥹. She can be adopted anywhere in the UK and whoever gets to give this little girl her forever home is going to be so lucky!

Meet Shushu! 🐾

At just 2.5 years old and 26 lbs, Shushu is a true survivor. Rescued in South Korea, where she spent her early days living among trash outdoors and surviving on food scraps tossed once every two weeks, she has proven to be an absolute fighter.

Despite her heartbreaking past, Shushu’s spirit remains remarkably gentle and sweet. She’s quiet (barely ever barks!) and loves offering the softest little smiles as she builds trust with her foster family.
Shushu is adjusting to home life with so much grace. She gets along great with other dogs she has met, loves making human friends, and is taking to city life like a total pro - walking beautifully on a leash and staying completely unfazed by loud noises or others on the street.

A video too precious not to share with the world. Toffee, our last Korean meat trade survivor to be adopted FINALLY arrived to her forever home this week with .world ✨. We think she has settled in beautifully 🥹. While this absolutely is not the norm, it can happen, and when it does, it’s MAGIC 🪄!!! We are so thankful for this community who continues to open their hearts and homes to dogs in need

👑 11 months old & 26lbs

Flipper, the poodle mix puppy, is ready for adoption! He is currently being fostered in the D.C. area but can be adopted to anyone in the US willing to travel. This little 11 month old, 26lb love bug is a dream.

From his fosters:
“Flipper is such a sweet and funny little guy. He’s very friendly with people and other dogs and loves to play, especially with his toys and balls. He can be a little cautious of some dogs at first, but mostly just wants to play.

He’s doing great with potty training and is basically doing all his business outside. He’s also super smart and picks things up really quickly when you take the time to teach him. He does well at home during the day if you need to leave and will be VERY excited to see you when you get back. He’s crate trained also.

He’d do best with a family who can give him plenty of attention and continue working with him as he grows and learns. He’s a young, playful pup, so someone willing to spend time playing with him would make him very happy. He’s incredibly lovable and has so much affection and personality to give.

He’s playful, curious, enjoys exploring outside, and has been coming out of his shell more every day. He’s overall a very cute, goofy boy.”

His story: Flipper was born in a scrapyard in South Korea, where his mom (Oat) struggled to care for her litter before she was rescued. Thankfully, all of his siblings have since found loving homes... but Flipper is still the last one waiting for his forever family. 💔
