Howls Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)(3) registered organization by founder Lyssa Howells, dedicated to rescuing our furry friends wherever we are needed and finding them a safe forever home. Just like it takes a village to raise a child, it also takes a lot of people for your dog to grow up at its best. Howls Rescue comes with a built in support of rescue, foster and puppy parents who have built a

community both online & off. Lyssa is also a professional dog trainer and groomer so she's just one text or a phone call away with any questions about your pup post adoption.

This Sunday we’re taking our adoptables on a little field trip — and you’re invited 🐶💛

We’ve teamed up with , & for a Pack Walk → Adoption Event combo through McCarren Park.

Yes… that means you can literally meet your future dog on a walk 🥹

✨ THE PLAN
🐕 12:00PM — Meet us at Upstate Stock (Berry & N14th)
🐕 12:10PM — Pack walk through the park (with adoptable pups!!)
🐕 12:30–3PM — Adoption event outside McCarren Park House

Come hang, meet the dogs, ask questions, fall in love… you know how it goes 😅

Not ready to adopt? Come anyway.
Thinking about fostering? Definitely come.
Just want serotonin? We’ve got plenty.

Due to the cold weather, we had to cancel today’s adoption event to keep everyone safe.
