🚨 ANOTHER NYC CARRIAGE HORSE IS DEAD. 🚨

This heartbreaking footage was taken tonight (last night) in and shows Deniz, a 16-year-old carriage horse, taking his final breaths after collapsing while pulling passengers.

Join us Wednesday, June 10 at 12 PM on the steps of City Hall for a major rally reintroducing Ryder’s Law and demanding that the New York City Council Speaker Julie Menin, and Mayor Zohran Mamdani advance and pass Ryder’s Law to end this horrific suffering once and for all. Tonight’s tragic and preventable death is a devastating reminder that this legislation cannot wait.

Horrified New Yorkers watched as Deniz struggled in agony before dying in front of a crowd of shocked and heartbroken witnesses. Some were crying and hugging one another as they watched.

No horse should suffer and die this way in the middle of New York City.

Deniz’s death underscores the urgent need to pass Ryder’s Law before another horse is killed or more people are injured.

It’s kitten season - and more than ever shelters have more cats and kittens then they can handle - please share and please help!

Right now, hundreds of cats rely on us every single day, not only the cats in our shelter waiting for loving homes, but also the feral and community cats throughout our area who depend on our support to survive.

We’re asking our community to help us restock our cat food pantry. Every donation of wet or dry cat food helps ensure that hungry cats receive the care and nutrition they need.

If you’re able, please consider donating dry or wet cat food towards our pantry and help us continue supporting cats in need throughout our community.

Please visit SASF.org, link in bio for our Amazon Wishlist or drop off unopened donations at:

Thank you for helping us care for the animals who depend on us.

A hilarious repost I had to share! Does your pet steal!? 😜😂😳❤️🥰😆

This viral “My Cat Is a Thief” sign came from Beaverton, Oregon, where a black cat named Esme became infamous for stealing random items from neighbors and bringing them home as “gifts.” Her owner, Kate Felmet, eventually created a public lost-and-found display in her yard after Esme kept returning with gloves, masks, belts, fabric, kneepads, and other stolen objects. 🐈

The hand-painted sign read “My Cat Is a Thief” and invited neighbors to reclaim their belongings from a clothesline filled with Esme’s stolen loot. The story exploded online in 2021 after local news stations and major outlets covered the strange situation.

According to Felmet, Esme became especially obsessed with gardening gloves and would proudly yowl at the back door every time she returned from a successful “heist.” The sign became such a local attraction that people regularly stopped to take photos, while some neighbors actually recovered missing items they had been wondering about for weeks. 😂

Puppymills = animal abuse. Please adopt, never buy from puppy stores. This mother was rescued after years of neglect and being used for her puppies. After months of working with her, I was able to get her to trust humans again and found her that perfect family! to see her now!
