This is my favorite job ever.. Remember Spiff in December?
Broken down and starving at only 9 years old, this is what six months of fields, friends, good nutrition, hand walking and a lot of community love can do.
Does he still have a long way to go? Yes he does. He's not sound yet and we are working with on a strengthening and treatment plan. If all goes well, he'll start under saddle in the coming months.
But spiff has come back to life! He's making friends for the first time probably ever. He's become playful and affectionate. It is so life-giving to be part of that transformation. THANK YOU to all the volunteers, donors and sponsors who make this possible!
