Some cats hide… and then there was KB. 😂💜

KB was truly the world’s greatest hider. The second you walked into the house, she was already on a mission to disappear. Under the treadmill, behind furniture, squeezed into the tiniest space you’d swear no cat could possibly fit into. If there was a hiding spot, KB was going to find it. 🐱

She was an extremely nervous girl who liked her space, but with her dad, she was completely different. She loved him deeply and turned into the biggest mush when she was with him.

For this Memory Monday, we’re remembering KB exactly as she was: shy, sneaky, incredibly good at hide-and-seek, and full of so much love for her favorite person.
Rest peacefully, sweet KB. You may have been the best at hiding, but you’ll never be forgotten. 🐾🌈

At BBSC, we’re lucky enough to care for so many wonderful pets and become part of their stories. Some leave us with memories that we carry a little more closely, and we’re grateful for every cuddle, silly moment, and sweet personality we’ve had the chance to know. 🤍

The betrayal happens QUICK around here. 😂🐶🐾

It’s Funny Friday, and Hamsa is clearly having absolutely no trouble making herself comfortable.

One of our favorite parts of caring for your pets is getting to see their personalities come out once they feel safe, relaxed, and right at home with us.

Some take a little time to warm up… and others are basically like, “Okay, so where are we cuddling?” 🤭

This Su***de Prevention Month, we’re making space for the people behind the care. The people who celebrate the wins, carry the difficult cases, comfort families through loss, and come back the next day ready to care all over again.

Mental health deserves to be part of the conversation in veterinary medicine, not just this month, but every day.

Because those who dedicate their lives to caring for animals deserve care, too.

We may be a little late to the celebration, but it’s never too late to celebrate the dogs of BBSC! 🐶💜🐾

In honor of National Dog Day & World Dog Day earlier this week, we’re giving some extra love to the incredible pups who make the BBSC family so special.

From the silly and sassy to the sweet and snuggly, every pup has left their own little paw print on our hearts. Thank you to our amazing pet parents for trusting BBSC to be part of their care and their journey. Here’s to the pups who make every day better!

Today, we remember our sweet Mini 🐾💜

From the streets of Flatbush, where she fiercely protected her four babies, to a life filled with warmth, family, and so much love, Mini was truly one special girl.

She was brave, clever, spirited, and sweet, with a personality that made it impossible not to fall in love with her. We feel incredibly lucky to have been a small part of Mini’s journey and to have cared for such a special soul.

Rest peacefully, Mini. Your courageous little spirit will never be forgotten. 🌈
