🚨Who doesn’t love a satisfying before & after?

This sweet boy is JW, a senior horse who enjoys a laid-back lifestyle and occasionally teaches beginners with SKY M Equine Services.

This was JW’s first ever session with me. Below there is only a 30 minute difference between both images.

We achieved these changes through use of massage/fascial blading.

In the image I’ve marked what areas to look at to help train the eye & compare!

On the right, it’s visible how tension release works towards improved alignment, beginning to restore balance.

This isn't just about aesthetics; it's about enhancing your horse's well-being.

Thank you to his owner for entrusting me with his care! 🐴💕

Equine TMJ Dysfunction: Signs and Benefits of Kinesiology Taping.🐴

Issues within this joint can look like..

🔺Difficulty chewing / dropping food.
🔺Head tilting / favoring one side.
🔺Head shy / pain on palpation.
🔺Grinding teeth.
🔺Resistance to the bit.
🔺Facial asymmetry.

KT serves as a non-invasive method to support the joint & promote healing. Pictured below is Sweet Cheeks with her TMJ taping for suspected arthritis. 🐴

Strategic KT application here can..

🔹Enhance local circulation
🔹Decrease & aid in removal of inflammatory byproducts.
🔹Aid the muscles of the jaw in proper function, reducing added strain on the TMJ.
🔹Relieve pain & tension.
🔹 Improve proprioception - increased awareness of jaw position can help correct imbalances.

➡️By providing external support, KT reduces pain & strain on the TMJ, improving your horse’s comfort.

These combined effects make KT a valuable tool in managing equine joint issues, complementing traditional veterinary treatments and other therapeutic modalities to optimize recovery.🤩

Equine Hamstring Dysfunction: Signs and Benefits of Kinesiology Taping.🐴

Issues within this muscle group can look like..

🔺Decreased performance.
🔺Reluctance to engage the hindquarters.
🔺Short-strided in the hinds.

KT serves as a non-invasive method to support proper muscle function & promote healing. Pictured below is just one of multiple different applications that can be used for this muscle group.

Strategic KT application can..

🔹Enhance local circulation,
🔹Decrease & aid in removal of inflammatory byproducts.
🔹Improve nutrient supply to the affected muscle.
🔹Relieve pain & tension.

➡️By providing external support, KT reduces strain on the hamstrings, facilitating muscle relaxation.

➡️Sensory stimulation from the tape can influence proprioception, encouraging improved muscle activation patterns and biomechanics.

These combined effects make KT a valuable tool in managing equine hamstring issues, complementing traditional veterinary treatments and other therapeutic modalities to optimize recovery.🤩
