Look at how cool these bags are!! I know at least some of you guys are coffee addicts. Today I spent some time vacuum sealing and freezing my coffee beans from Bones Coffee Company! We buy our beans in bulk since we have it every morning and it gives me time to procrastinate buying more cause I wanna try new flavors and can’t decide lol. I like that these guys are in Florida too. We love supporting local over here. This isn’t sponsored but could be one day👀

Thank you to Rural Desserts for giving bananas and plantains to Jackalope Hollow and I all the time! They always get used lol. Go check out their farm stand!! Rural Desserts has some really yummy stuff. And the stand is in the driveway so you’re not stuck on a busy road☺️

Having as many birds as I do and being out of eggs should be illegal LOL. Realistically, all this rain and heat has really been getting to my birds. I’ve had to up the calcium cause I’ve been getting a few soft shell eggs. Luckily for me I have Michelle Monroe down the street and she delivered me eggs and didn’t even charge me for them. It’s so nice to have cool neighbors. Thank you girlfriend 💗Look how cute this egg carton is🥹 And go check out her page! And especially her stand! She started selling thrifted items on weekends with her eggs and I swear it’s gonna take everything in me not to go buy everything she has out there every weekend 😅

THE GREAT FARM ROAD TRIP 🚐

We decided all the local farms deserved a day off.

That was our first mistake. 😂

We rented a bus and started picking everybody up...

Jackalope Hollow was supposed to bring breakfast.

They brought a dozen eggs.

Raw eggs.

No pan.

Great start.

🚜 We stopped at Lisa's BIRD RANCH next, but they refused to leave until everyone helped them catch the animal that "was JUST HERE five seconds ago."

Twenty minutes later, we're back on the road.

🐐 Roberts Rabbitry Homestead climbed aboard carrying a baby goat.

They swear it wasn't coming with us.

It's coming with us.

🛒 Our first stop was the feed store.

Papke Farms said, "Nobody buy anything. We're just looking."

They spent $347.

🐓 Ramsey Family Chaos disappeared somewhere near the chick bins.

We haven't seen them since.

🌱 The Fair's Feathered Fowl & Creations found the clearance plant rack and now we're trying to figure out how to fit 14 fruit trees on the bus.

🍦 We finally stopped for lunch.

JRZ Homestead ordered something healthy.

Everyone booed.

😂 About To Crack at 25th Hour Farm suggested we make "one quick stop" at Tractor Supply.

That was three hours ago.

It's getting dark.

The bus is full of feed.

There's a goat in the passenger seat.

Someone bought chickens.

We have significantly less money than we started with.

And Gnomestead Farms LLC just asked...

"Same time next week?"

These happy boys know we hit 1k!!!! I am SOOO incredibly grateful for everyone here. I love that you love my babies as much as I do. It’s a lot of hard work, but at the end of the day I know I’m making a difference for all these duckies. I don’t have a lot of cases where I take in ducks as surrenders rather than dumping situations, but the times I do it makes it even better giving the owners peace of mind that they will have a long happy life here and that they can see their babies whenever they miss them. Sometimes life just doesn’t go as planned, and things change. That’s okay, that’s why I do this. Everyday I’m on here I see at least one rehoming post, or one dumped ducks post, it’s heartbreaking. A lot of people do also take in ducks, and I’m getting a list together of people across Florida who can take in feathered friends if I can’t (comment/message me if you can!!). I have had a lot of love and attention coming all the way from ORLANDO which is crazy to me. I’m two hours from there!! And yet to have the ducks get the attention they need people will still meet up with me and make the drive. I truly appreciate the good people in this world. Thanks for being here ❤️❤️
