Today we’re at O’Reilly with Blue, continuing his training!
Each new environment gives Blue another opportunity to build confidence and learn that he doesn’t need to react to everyone around him.
With consistency and positive exposure, Blue is making great progress!

Blue did really well during his training session at Target!
With all the people, noises, and distractions around him, he was able to stay much calmer and more comfortable in the busy environment.
We’re continuing to work on his reactivity toward people and building his confidence through positive exposure.
Progress takes time, patience, and consistency.

Today we took Blue to Target for another training session!
We’re continuing to work on his reactivity toward people by using positive reinforcement and controlled exposure in a public environment.
The goal is to help Blue become more comfortable and confident around people while learning to stay calm and focused.

This is Blue, an aggressive Blue Heeler. 🐾
Blue was chained to a tree, did not get to socialize, and was not fed properly. He was abused, so we are using positive reinforcement to build his confidence and stop his aggression towards other people.
This was a dog that was refused by other dog trainers.

Meet Brie, a Retriever/poodle/pit mix.
She was found on the side of the road by animal control. My client recused her from being euthanized because of being too skittish.
So we are at Sims Park, downtown New Port Richey focusing on exposing Brie to new sights, sounds, and everyday activity in a positive, controlled way.
This type of training helps build her confidence and teaches her to remain calm and focused around distractions.

Hey y'all. Hope evryone is having a fantastic Thursday, the weekend is almost here. I'm here with Ocean doing some training at Target. She goes pretty much everywhere with me, as shes being trained for service dog. Her job, is to alert me when I'm about to have an episode with my heart and pass out. She's doing a fantastic job! She did alert me 2 weeks ago behind the wheel on 19 and made me pull over. If you are in need of a great, safe dog trainer that does NOT use tools to train your dog, please feel free to reach out to me. I also give free advice and I also do professional pup sitting.
